Is Beal actually playing? Last I heard, he was going to sit out.

Heard he would be there but just to do some handing around and light drills.

NBATV doing a really nice job covering this. Lots of interviews. Cut aways to scrimmage games.
They interview Beal. Says he is about two weeks away from contact.
Kind of cool to see all these players out there. Its like the young AS team.

BLUE VS WHITE ON RIGHT NOW
Can't find the box scores though.
Lillard and Kyrie started.
Wall is in now.
#50
Faried with two nice dunks and a block
Ohhhh. Davis with a coast to coast dunk.

Wall simply can't shoot like Irving and Lillard.. don't think he will make the final roster.

Wall really doesn't look good, the ball sticks too much & his shot definitely doesn't look any better. He's still athletic & lightening fast with good court vision. I like most of his decisions unless he's trying to score himself.

The lack of a jumper knocks Wall value down IMO.

Just turned it on. Kinda fun to watch.... and kinda nervous about Wall playing in this. Don't want him to risk injury... I hope he's not going at it too hard. Getting injured in something like this would be tragic.

They keep playing him with Kembra Walker. Not a very good pairing. Wall needs a Beal out there with him. To bad Beal is on the side lines. That would have been special to see.
Wall will look better with the Wizards roster. Kind of highlight how the Wizards are really built around Walls game.. his speed, etc. He looks better when he has full control of the flow. He doesn't have that with these players. Specially when paired with Kembra who is also a PG. Good experience for him though. I think Beal would have looked good. I think his game might translate better for a game like this. Not sure. Klay hasn't looked that good with these players in this style.
Parsons games translated pretty well. Nice blend of skills. Barnes as well.
Drummond is just a freak athlete. So big, strong and smooth running the court. He just was holding the ball in one hand and it was like he had a tennis ball.
Who know what he becomes, but physically, wow.
Kyrie just has sick handles and so much scoring confidence. I think he might make the Olympic Team. They could also use an energy guy like Faried. He would be a good bench player for the team. Similar, I think VO will make it there as well. Kind of surprised he isn't here
Davis is still thin, but man can he run and shoot. Not sure he will be a center any time soon but a very interesting PF.

I don't know why they brought Wall off the bench in place of the chucker Lillard. They should have let him start. I'd love to have seen him play vs Kyrie.

I think Davis & Kyrie make it--notice that Kyrie did just fine no matter who he was paired with & he didn't just score he pressured the hell out of defenses to force the action even when he didn't score or get an assist.
Giving Wall the max makes even less sense given how many good to great point guards are out there--the supply is definitely up from year's past.

yeah, Wall should have started. Would have got the blue team set up much quicker.

That may or may not be true, but I don't think this game has anything to do with that evaluation.
This was more like an AS game of which Kyrie has played in before so he has some experience in doing that. But it wasn't even that, it was a scrimmage game tryouts. Not saying that is the only reason his game translated, there are other factors. Some of them I mentioned such as Wall playing with Kembra who was also trying to be the PG. Wall actually hit a corner shot off of a Kembra feed. Another time, Barnes wouldn't give him to ball in half out to set the offense after a miss. That wouldn't happen on the Wizards.
Other just have to do with Kryre's skill set is a good match for what they want.
Wall's game is to get it an run. That's how the Wizards will play. That isn't really what they were trying to do in this SCRIMMAGE.
I still think Wall is going to totally beast this year in the real NBA season. That's what the Wizards would be paying him to do. Not this.
In a Wizards game and on a Wizards team, the team is molded to Johns skills. In this game, they are looking for players that will help compliment and fill in missing pieces for a totally different team.
Its going to be fun to see Wall and the Wizards go against these other teams and player. Wall vs Kyrie and CLE will be fun. Same with vs D Rose and Chicago.
