GT #16: Wizards @ Pacers 8 PM CSN

Pacers have been the talk of the league with their fast start and Paul George has stepped up offensively. Defense is still great and their bench is better with Scola and CJ Watson replacing Augustine and Hansborough.

Wiz probably match up well with this team. Hard to win in the field house.

#FireGrunfeld! I'm 5-1 on Game Threads but still am rooting for the idiot to go :(

It's been a while since Washington has had a big road win. Oklahoma was close, but ultimately Washington gave it away.

I like how the Wizards match up, but with the way the bench is playing it's going to take a consistent effort from all of the Wizards starters to pull this one out.

Time for the Wizards to make some noise, Wizards 97 Pacers 93.

Wall wasnt all the way there against the Bucks but I also thought some of that was the Bucks. They played the P&R better then nearly any team I saw play Wall.

From listening to the guys talk, they are pumped up for this game. Wall wants to show George that he's the best player from this draft and this is still the same lineup that Wall lit up last year. Ariza seems hyped so I think he could do well against George and Webster also matches up well with Stephenson who is use to having a huge size advantage. Inside is equal. The bench is a white wash but Witt will try to win so the starters are going 40.

To me it comes down to Wall. If he's the dominant guy from last year and this last stretch then he will keep us in this game. If he's just average then we probably wont win. Pacers are great on D but there bigs are still slow while there wings are tall so Wall can stil get around them. If he puts pressure on the D non stop then we can get the W....................................................................then lose at home to the Hawks tomorrow........lol

Worst case scenerio is we play great but still lose late with our starters playing huge minutes while playing the Hawks tomorrow on a back to back. you could argue that is the bigger game and the true must win

That was probably Wall's most complete game in his career. Dude did it all and was unstoppable. In his 47 point game, he mainly only hit jumpers since his shot was wet that night.

I would imagine Gortat will be matched up with Hibbert, leaving Nene to guard West and vice versa.

Interesting matchup.

Keeping West of the boards is going to be crucial. This game may well be won on who ends up having the edge on second chance points.

We also need many fast break points.

Let's go Zards! Nothing to lose.

no Beal, Porter, Harrington, & Nene

Thats a pretty solid lineup right there we are missing.

Atleast let Wall be able to get 27 total combined pts & ast and let us be able to score 22 in the 1st quarter. Im in the tank

The team is falling apart before our eyes. Wall needs to dominate or we stand no shot. Hopefully Gortat still has it going.

Good ol' Nene... Once he finally gets it going, he gets hurt.

I hope that isn't the trend that the Wizards as a team follow, with Beal, Porter, and now Nene

Lol, it's so hard not to be cynical about this team.

Roped in by a good stretch, here comes the letdown.

I don't mind Nene missing a game here or there in order to stay healthy. At least he is picking a game we are sure to lose anyhow.

Maybe we just give up this game and allow Nene to be energetic tomorrow vs Atlanta?

Sure to lose seems a bit of an overstatement.

Last year Washington lost by 4 and 7 on the road against that team, would have been nice to see them compete for a road win.

Virtual certainty that's not going to happen with our highest paid player missing yet another game.
