GT #36: Wizards @ Bulls 8 PM

Post#1 » by verbal8 » Mon Jan 13, 2014 1:20 pm

The Bulls have won all 3 games since dealing Luol Deng.

Jimmy Bulter is questionable for the game.

Expected starting line-ups.
Bulls:
Hinrich
Tony Snell
Mike Dunleavy
Carlos Boozer
Joakim Noah

Wizards:
Wall
Beal
Ariza
Booker
Gortat

I think this game is a big chance for the Wizards to improve their position in the standings. Hopefully the Wizards can get a win against a decent team on the road.

I hope we can keep this thread free of the Luv-A-Bulls.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Double digit loss here.

Especially because you dudes reject the Wizards' good luck charm, our Luv-a-Bulls.

I think we really need the Luv-a-Bulls, particularly against Chicago. Make it happen, Pine!

Could be a 75-70 type of game. Not going to be pretty

I would hope that we'd be able to beat a Bulls team that's missing both Rose and Deng. If not, it just shows how paltry the talent is on this squad.

Hard to predict a win when the disparity in coaching outweighs the disparity in talent.

If Snell starts at the 2 and Brad Beal tries to shoot a bunch of contested long two's over him with his 7 foot wingspan and 8'10" standing reach I might break the TV tonight.

I voted yes for luv a bulls. How can we have luv a bulls on other game threads but not the bulls one? If anything we were winning then. And we should have them so when bulls fans come to this thread we can force them to defend themselves and their team for that idea

With my interest in trading for noah. I want to see how much he out does our guys or not. Want to see if he's an upgrade (and by how much)

He'll be our defensive anchor for sure. Better than Okafor.

big game. The kinda game where heads roll after. Weve been very good on the road and weve been good beating teams supposedly on the same level or worst than us while losing to all the teams better than us so if we lose this game we might be on the road to changes. Not only that but its on NBA TV which is like a semi spotlight game and if we lose we will be much closer to the 9th seed then we are to the 3rd seed while our young guys arent developing properly. Huge game

No. It's not the kind of game where heads will roll. Losing to Chicago on the road is forgivable.

I enjoy Nene, but his Que Sera, Sera attitude wears off on the team too much. It doesn't seem like this team cares enough and that's why I think this is a loss. After getting embarrassed in 2 straight game you'd think a team with passion would come out guns blazing tonight, but not our Zards. Chicago's intensity will wear down Washington.

Yep, judging how Leonsis operates, it's going to be damn near impossible for heads to roll during the season. Even if they do roll, Teddy would probably wait to the off-season to do it so he doesn't have to pay any extra salaries.
