This game really scares me especially with how well they played last night against Indiana, there confidence will be very high. Well balanced team

Can we make it back to .500???
Man, toeing that line this season and never crossing over is giving me the worst blueballs.

Most surprising team in the NBA this year. Jeff Hornacek is a heck of a coach already.
Suns will win by double digits. The collapse is finally starting. Grunfeld will be fired!

This .500 crap is very annoying. It's time to just get on a winning streak.

this game is simple to me. If the normal John Wall shows up then we win but Im worried that after last night he may go super conservative or passive because he thinks he shot way too much. Truthfully I could see him normally going off in a game like this with like an efficient 25 & 11 but he may not even attempt to do that after reading his comments last night which were true but he still may not be mature enough to not let it effect his play in the next game

Outside of Goran Dragic, I don't recognize any of those players by their picture. Is that a Plumlee?
How the heck is this team 7 games over .500?

Yup... and he's played pretty well
Phoenix is shooting well this year... Bledsoe when he was in and Dragic were a top backcourt... both playing with and off the ball

Jeff Hornacek the player is probably still more famous than any of the guys he's now coaching. He's a miracle worker.

Yeah, people keep talking about Terry Stotts of Portland getting coach of the year. My vote is for Hornacek.
Stotts is good, but I really think much of Portland's improvement is due to the addition of Lopez, the individual improvement of Lilliard, and the fact that they underachieved a bit last year while dealing with injuries and a short bench.
What Hornacek is doing is just remarkable, almost unprecedented. It's amazing that such a young team, particularly in the front court, is faring so well amongst all the elite teams out West. Who the hell are these guys?

And they have excellent medical staff that kept Steve Nash&Grant Hill alive, plus cryo-chamber:

Good coaching matters. A lot.

Yup. It matters a lot -- and that's why you must get outstanding players, because otherwise your coaches aren't good. I mean, look at Boston. Doc Rivers was a really good coach in '04-05 when he had some really good players. Then the next year, when he lost a couple of his best guys why he wasn't nearly as good.
Then the year after that when he lost even more of his good players, why he was a *terrible* coach; he went 24-58.
Then the following year, thank goodness, they got Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett, and Rivers once again became a terrific coach! I mean it's obvious -- he went 66-16 and they won the title.
I'm telling you: coaching really matters -- the above makes it obvious! wouldn't you agree?

and there are situations where a team has not so much talent but are great because of good coaching just like there are situations where a team has a ton of talent and underachieve because of bad coaching. I dont care what you say; Witt sucks and he sucks bad. We have more talent then you are giving us credit for, especially in the East.
I will say this though, you can get away with it both ways if your coach's system matches with the players talent. In this case its a horrible mismatch. Its designed for a PG like Cassell, Billups, etc... who have no athletic ability and love to shoot jumpers or throw a simple pass back to the big. We have Wall and he would be dynamite in a system that fits him and attacks North & South, not East & West like ours does. I cant believe we are wasting his most explosive years playing in this sideways jump shooting crap. Ted & EG are idiots for not getting a new coach a long time ago. The funny thing is that I have a feeling when we do get a new coach, it will be in another system that doesnt play to Wall's strenghts

Do you really think Phoenix would be trotting that lineup out there with Randy Witt, Sam I Am and the boys and winning like they are now?
