Tough game to call, I'm hoping for some payback after that heart breaker in OKC.

Wall was super effecient last game. Now I wanna see how he plays after getting his 1st All Star nod. It usually takes guys to another level although it mostly happens after the game is played. Still, I want to see the aggressive Wall back. I dont wanna see Reggie Jackson getting 20 shot attempts with Wall only getting 12. If that happens Im going off on him and Witt..........lol

On a side note, I was in OKC recently and went to some Thunder games. KD is crazy to watch in person. Looks unstoppable. OKC has a great arena. It reminds me of going to the MGM grand in Vegas for a boxing match. I say that because in both places you can still see great even in the nose bleeds. Most of all though, the crowd is so much more loud & outgoing than ours. Its a very fun environment

Look for Otto Porter to break out. But chalk it up to shellfish.

Seriously, though: Otto stated that his game was most similar to Kevin Durant's. He's slim, I'll give him that.

It is but he meant Kevin Durant, the car salesman on Georgia Ave...........lol

Otto does have a sick handle and unlimited range on his jumper. So I'll give him that.

Sans the defensive assignment on Durant I like most of our match ups.

Wall>>>Jackson
Beal>Thabo
Ariza/Webster<<<<<<<Durant
Nene=Ibaka (still don't believe he's a 2nd option yet)
Gortat>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Perkins

It'll probably come down to how hot Lamb is from the perimeter. Jackson and Durant are their only guys that consistently beat people off the dribble so just run em off their Js and force their dribble penetration to beat you (which I still don't think they can).

Now if Brooks wises up and only plays Perkins for 6 minutes or so....the game gets more difficult.

I'll agree to that. The problem is that Durant is the single most destructive scoring force since '06 Kobe.

Nene=Ibaka (still don't believe he's a 2nd option yet)

Which is a problem because Nene is our 2nd option.

Ibaka is better than Nene. That guy has gotten good.

But Sefalosha and Perkins aren't any good. Steven Adams will get a lot of time probably. Our goal should be to get him in foul trouble and force them to use Perkins.

Our issue is going to be in keeping up with Durant. He's easily capable of willing his team to this win. He did it last time we played them. We won't be pushovers and it'll take a 48 minute game from the Thunder probably. But we don't have an answer for Durant right now. Nobody does. I don't like being the defeatist fan, but realistically, I'm expecting a loss.

Would love for us to get a win though. It'd be a feather in our caps.

The other thing is the Thunder can go small and force us to keep up. That could be an issue because our two starting bigs are two of our best players and Beal is on a minutes restriction.

Do you have any links to efficiency after a players first all-star game... I have been trying to figure out if players take a step up there or after a USA training camp and I can't find any hard data. I have to believe that is the case though...

Ariza has to hold Durant to less than 30

This is the game that sends Ariza's trade value through the roof.

Daryl Morey is going to call offering Asik after RZA does his thing. Phoenix is going to call. So will Dallas.

Feel the excitement.

Who was it on here that said last game: "Under .500 = Win / .500 = Loss"
Sure I'll go with that! :D

That means all we have to do is make it into the playoffs 16 games under .500.

I feel 3 first round picks and a young big coming our way :)

Good point -- OKC will be so mortified at the prospect of a competitor landing Ariza, that they will offer up Adams and 3 picks.

On the plus side with John's All-Star selection, maybe he'll start to see more foul calls go his way.
