Interesting, especially since CLE just gave up a forward to get a big (Clark for Hawes).

Ariza+Mayor+expirings for Deng and something else?

Apparently the Detroit and Washington offers are dead for Deng. I wonder if they were Josh Smith and Nene, which would make a lot less sense once Hawes was acquired.

I think the two deals that we should do are
Singleton, harrinton, 2015 second round pick
For
Rivers and the rights to jackson

and

Jan+ our second 2015 second round pick
for
Jordan Hill

those two trades cuts off some fat and give use young pieces that can help us in the playoff's

As for Deng, I do not think he is really someone we should be going after. We need to either fill needs with back up guard dept or a young big for the future.

If it doesn't cost a pick great. I could see something like Vesley and Seraphin being appealing to the current Denver management.

I wonder if getting in on the Sessions-Neal deal(getting Sessions) might be good. Send Vesley to the Bucks and Harrington to the Bobcats. Saves the Bucks about $1 million over taking Sessions.

According to Woj:

Serious talks between the Wizards and Denver: Vesely and Maynor for Andre Miller.

Sad that Jan is leaving. He's not all that, but I don't think he got a fair shake here. Ecstatic that Maynor will be gone...hopefully.

What does Andre Miller's contract look like?

EDIT: Ugh, that's not a very good contract and he's 33.

Miller has only one more year after this.

Maynor and Veseley -- get off of my team.

$5 million this year.

$4.6 mil next season, but $2 mil is only guaranteed if he's cut before June 30, 2014 or two days before the draft. I would venture to say he'll be brought back.

P.S. Since Ernie drafted Veseley and signed Maynor in the first place, can we also put HIM on the block?

EG to Toronto for a hockey player to be named later and cash considerations.

Would rather have Ariza over Deng

Not really excited if all we can make is a really small move like getting Miller
