Player of the Game - Wiz vs Magic (2/25/14)

.

Let's get this tradition started again. Look, we don't seem to have WizStorm to do this every game for all of us, so the rule should be whoever started the victorious game thread has to make the player of the game thread as well.

So let's get to it. Four in a row and above .500 again. That has a nice ring to it.

Here are your nominees for Player of the Game:

---------------------

Image
PG John Wall
27 points (11-19 fg; 2-4 3pt, 3-4 ft); 5 boards, 7 dimes, 1 steal and 1 turn in 34 minutes

Image
SG Bradley Beal
21 points (7-13 fg, 1-1 3pts, 6-9 ft), 4 dimes in 36 minutes

Image
SF Trevor Ariza
22 points (7-10 fg, 5-5 3pts, 3-3 ft), 3 boards, 4 dimes, 3 steals, 2 turns in 32 minutes

Image
C Marcin Gortat
21 points (9-13 fg, 3-5 ft), 10 boards, 2 dimes, 1 turn in 38 minutes

Or....

That's not a bad photo of Evadney. Not pretty by any means but probably has a sick body and is super flexible and confident. Would smash after 3 beers.

I voted for Gortat, who stepped up in Nene's absence and put up 21 and 10.

But Gortat can't keep it up forever. We need another broad-shouldered banger. I say we waive Singleton and sign Evander to a 10-day.

Was the misspelling intentional?

It's embarrassing that our good luck charm got the second highest number of votes. More votes than Ariza, Beal, and Gortat.

:nonono:

I think we (well, me that is) are going to have to ban Evadney from the list of finalists for Wiz Player of the Game from now on. My bad. Lesson learned.

Sorry.

Jokes aside, the Luv-a-Bulls' official photographer is far more responsible for that squad's legendary state of affairs than their selection committee was.

Check out Evadney in the hands of a capable wedding photographer. She's got an Aisha Tyler thing going on in this pic.

I feel bad about making my previous joke. I apologize.
