I don't know what's more disappointing; the fact that Porter could only muster up 11 seconds of PT against the lowly Bucks, or the fact that he played 22 minutes against Utah and didn't do squat.
It's probably best to sit him for this one. LeBron will tear him apart and shatter what little confidence (if any) he has left.

We\re taking our talents to Souch Beach!
but, despite Miami coming off a back-to-back, I don't see how we pull this one off.
I hope that I'm wrong, but Heat by 9.

We're clearly better at every position, especially at
small forward.

I guess this is just what we'll have to put up with every time Porter doesn't hit two big three point shots during his rookie campaign.
Porter provided defense that game. He isn't the type of player to force things on offense so it doesn't bother me if he doesn't score much his first year. Will bother me more if he once again becomes a forgotten man in Wittman's rotation. He didn't do anything in his last two games that should cause him to fall completely out of favor with Wittman.

While certainly the odds favor us losing, I definitely think this is a winnable game. We seem to match up pretty well with Miami, and we're playing very well on the road. Miami should be tired on a back-to-back, and we should be a bit disappointed after our 2nd half collapse in Milwaukee and will hopefully be mentally prepared.
It'll help that we'll be sampling Miami's night life on a Sunday night - which presumably isn't quite as active. And that the Miami players themselves won't be around to show the Wizards players a good time.

Chicago will put them through the woodshed, and we match up well with them. I think we win if Wall keeps his head out of his a$$.

The development/usage of Otto has been dreadful this season.
No clue whatsoever how to develop the guy.
Just no plan whatsoever.

Wall gets up for big opponents. I suspect he'll have a decent outing. I hope Booker sets some bone crushing screens on Wade and his pelvis shatters on the hardwood. **** that douche to hell.
We will still probably lose though. MIA probably remembers how we throttled them earlier in the year.

Martell Webster was out against Utah and came back against the Bucks so Porter not getting much playing time isn't surprising.

People need to stop with the Porter complaints. This is a lost season for him. He's not going to get any playing time until next year. Deal with it.

With how soft Miami is in the paint, it should be Wall/Gortat pnr's all night long. Ariza needs to be the stretch 4 that keeps Lebron out of the play entirely. Defensively, this would be where Ariza really earns his paycheck. Nailing 3's is nice but playing defense on Lebron wins games. If we can get away with Lebron putting up sub-27 without double-teaming, I think we win this game.

I think Porter should swap places with Rice at the D-League for the rest of the season. Just let him play 25 min per night hoops there to get himself together.

we always matchup great with the Heat. Lebron is in a major slump so we are either catching them at the best time ever or the worst time ever. Wade is not playing b2b's but today's game is a very early day game so I could see him playing against us. However, they just went into OT so that could mean he wont play. That goes for there whole team also. It sucks for us that they have a early game today but they still went into OT, blew the game, annd have to travel while we will be pumped to play them. Should be interesting either way

Playing with house money tomorrow night.
I'd love to see a win, but the Charlotte and Brooklyn games coming up are much more important.
Beat the bobs on Wednesday and the non 7th seed starts to come into focus. Win and tag a loss on them and we can start thinking about a magic number ( such as it is... To clinch a playoff position where a first round exit isn't virtually guaranteed ).

The heat is exhausted, lebron is still tired from his 61 point effort...we're semi hot with all our shooters coming off good performances last game...I think we can take them...This is a game where wade migh rest considering he played the last 3...game tape should give ariza a good idea how to guard lebron based on Jimmy butler defense...let's go wizards!
