__________5-5 Last 10, Streak: L2___________________________4-6 Last 10, Streak: W2

And down the stretch they come. Representing the most powerful city in the world, YOUR Washington Wizards losers of their last two, head into the happiest place on Earth for a Friday night match-up against Southeast Division foe the Orlando Magic. The Wiz currently sit in seventh place in the East following a disappointing overtime loss at home on Wednesday night against the Charlotte Bobcats.

The Magic have won their last two games, including a nice victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night (albeit without Blatche, Lopez, and Pierce.) They've won the games without C Nikola Vucevic, who's nursing a left achilles tendon. SG Aaron Afflalo has had a really solid year and leads Orlando in scoring.

YOUR Wizards are stumbling a bit since clinching a playoff berth. SF Trevor Ariza has been playing with the flu and it's showing -- particularly on the offensive end. SG Bradley Beal is still searching for consistency in his game. PF/C Nene Hilario is just returning after tweaking his left knee. He'll come off the bench and face a minutes restriction for this game, as the Wiz try to round him into shape before the playoffs begin.

For those setting their DVRs in advance or reading these words before tuning into the game, please note that it's scheduled to be on CSN+.

Magic just beat the Nets, and Wizards needed OT to beat them last time.

I chuck (pun intended) this up as another loss.

We really need to win out. Right now we are facing Miami in the first round. Would rather play Toronto or Indiana regardless of IND being the no1 seed, MIA is way better at the moment.

Basically, we are screwed.

At this point, I won't be surprised if we lose again. We're awful and I hope that Ted realizes it is due to management and coaching.

at this point wins & losses mean very lil. Its all about playing well and getting the lineups/rotations set but if you do that then you should beat these teams.

The rest of this season, playoffs is just like the Bobcats game. Win/win situation. Either we play well, close out the season strong, and do well in the playoffs, or we struggle which should seal the fate of Witt & Ernie

Nets were coming off a back to back game against the Miami Heat. Probably just a let down game from the Nets.

I scratch it off as a win actually. Maybe this loss will kick them in the stomach and they actually try to win out again.

Wizards starting five has bigger average head size. Need only to employ superior intellect to apply science to the dark arts. How can Wizards overcome Magic? Hmmm. Let me think.

PS: Have there been any Christian protests of Wizards - Magic games? You know how it starts, gradually expose kids to the cartoonish iconography of the conjurer's craft, but in the end you're naked in a pentagram drinking goat's blood. It's a slippery slope.

Go Wiz!

I guess this is pointing out the obvious but as long as Wall/Beal/Ariza don't go 10/39 again, we should win. Or, as some on this board would phrase it, as long as Wittman doesn't coach Wall/Beal/Ariza to shoot 10/39 again, we should win.

I rather play the Heat they are dealing with a lot of injuries.

Magic missed a year, Bird can barely stand up, I hope we face the Dream Team.

They can rest Wade for the 1st round and still beat the Wizards 4-1.

No way we want to play MIA without the momentum of a 1st round victory vs. TOR or CHI.

At this point, the Wizards are definitely losers in Round 1 either in a sweep or 5.

No way in hell.

Bosh will have a HUGE series. A series with the Wizards may wisen up Spoelstra to actually use Bosh more in the offense.
