Representing the most powerful city in the world, YOUR playoff-bound Washington Wizards end the regular season with a trip to Beantown.

Bottom line: The Wiz lock in the 6th spot in the East with a win over the rebuilding Boston Celtics.

Wiz Head Coach Randy Wittman will have to try and balance minutes for guys who could probably use some rest (SF Trevor Ariza, PG John Wall, SG Bradley Beal, and PF Nene Hilario) with the need to come away from TD Garden with a victory.

Cs SF Jeff Green makes his return to the Verizon Center -- he's having a pretty solid season in an otherwise forgetful season for Boston fans. There was some discussion on the RealGM General Board that Cs PG Rajon Rondo was conducting a one-man tanking operation. We'll see what happens in this 8:00 p.m. match-up. (Honestly, I can't believe any one player can conduct his own tank).

I'd like to see a heavy dose of Otto Porter this game. We should rest Ariza while we can.

Must win. Play like it's a normal game. We can not risk dropping to 7.

Of course since we play an hour after Charlotte, if they lose we'll know by halftime and can rest starters in the 2nd half.

This. The only guy I'm interested in resting is Nene. Other than that, they need to start the normal crew and make sure they win.

Good to see Ariza shake the cobwebs of his long ball.

Must win.

Rondo seems to be apart of the Celtics longterm plans since he is blatantly tanking games away for them.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him represent them at the lottery tbh

Martell miss, Otto ORB and putback at buzzer for one point victory. 44-38. Championship!

I don't think Nene needs any rest. He needs minutes to continue to get his rhythm back. I'd like to see him play at least 24 minutes.

Of all our players, Webster is probably the guy who would benefit most from time off. He hasn't been right for quite some time now. If things are going well in the 1st quarter, I'd like to see Wittman bring in Porter instead of Webster to sub for Beal. Let's try and give Porter 24 minutes or so, and Webster 0.

I also would like to see more Seraphin and less Gortat if circumstances permit.

Rest Webster, we can win sans his production. Rest Nene, outside of Sully, no reason to fear the BOS FC Although Olys numbers are better the they were early in the season.

Maybe Wall will actually make a jumpshot this game :P

Did any of you catch JMichael's tweet last night that Nene was complaining that he got too many minutes vs Miami?

When I'm back this afternoon, I'll try and post it.

^Yeah, I saw the quote. I was wondering why Wittman left him in so long in the 4th quarter, does he hate Seraphin that much?

I watched the end of their game last night vs the Sixers, Rondo mysteriously forgot how to play basketball down the stretch

Not worried about this one at all. The stench of tanking in that Celtics organization is so strong, it's trickled down to the players.

Do the Cs have any reason to tank this game? As in can they move up or down the ranks via a win/loss?

For some reason I'm feeling very nervous about this one. Mainly because we handled them so easily last time. The Wizards aren't exactly known for their consistency in beating bad teams.

Kelly O is the weak link on defense for this team. Both Gortat and Nene should have their way down low and I hope to see plenty of Wall/Gortat PnRs.

Also thought about Webster. For Nene it's not so much about rest as it is not wanting him to get hurt before the playoffs start. LOL

A lot of you are saying that it's important to win this game, and I'm really grateful for the support. 44-38 baby... like I called it!

Of course I cheated. I pinned the tail on Ernie's... donkey. :)
