Over the season I would regularly hear of records getting broken that hadn't been in a while so I thought it would be cool to compile a list.

Multiple 100 made 3 ball players on one Wizards Team. Franchise Record - 4
Wall 107 at .351
Beal 135 at .399
Webster 145 at .393
Rainman TA 180 at .412 14th most attempts. 14th most made. Those are top 2-3 SF 3 ball shooting numbers.
- Comparison. 191 made 486 attempts shooting .393
Spoiler:
Kevin Durrant

Most 3 Balls in a game by a Wizard
Rainman TA with 10 on 14 attempts vs HOU Wed 2/12/14

Most 3 Balls by a Wizards Team in a game - 18x (on 33 attempts) vs PHI on Nov 6th, 2013
-Six different Wizards contributed to the record breaking effort: Eric Maynor (1), Al Harrington (2), Bradley Beal (3), Trevor Ariza (3), Martell Webster (4) and John Wall (5, a career high)

Nice to see Maynor finally getting some much deserved recognition.

Wall lead the league in assists. 712

Only the 3rd Wizard to do that.

Walls first AS appearance.

First time in team history they took the first two on the road. Ring it up as another record broken.

This team is peaking and will only get better. Leonsis will become the next power owner in the NBA. This team is on the verge of something special and guaranteed success. 2-0 on the road in the playoffs is remarkable. Credit Bradley Beal, John Wall, Nene Hilario and Randy Wittman.

1) After clinching their first playoff berth since 2008,

2) the Wizards have advanced to the second round for the first time since 2005,

3) won at Indiana for the first time since April 18, 2007,

4) and have their first second-round win since April 28, 1982

Keep on breaking the record boys.

Ultimate Goal.. Get that title series and then win it.

The Wizards are the first team to win their first four road playoff games, all against higher-seeded opponents, since the New Jersey Nets managed it in 1984.

+39 rebound margin was tied for the 3rd highest in playoff history, behind the '60 Celtics and '71 Hawks.

So clearly that sets a Wizards franchise record.

Most 2nd round wins since 1978-79 which was the year they lost in the finals.

Wasn't that the case with the first win too? I can't think of any other 2nd round wins between 1979 and this year.

Largest playoffs rebound margin (+39) since 1971 Hawks.

Largest by any NBA team in any game (reg season/playoffs) since NYK (+40) on March 7, 1992.

Before that last win they would have been tied 4-1 with the 1981-82 team.

This is from a April 26 Wash. Post article:

"Wizards merchandise sales increased by 100 percent on the online retailer Fanatics.com from the previous week, the largest bump of any franchise. Sales of apparel featuring Wall ranked fifth among NBA players after Tuesday’s Game 2."

John Wall dished out the second-most assists per game (8.8) in the league and the most total assists throughout the entirety of the season (721).

As a team, the 2013-2014 Wizards finished with 1,909 total assists. That's the most assists from a Washington team since the 1996-1997 season. Eighteen years.

It's also been 18 years since the Wizards shot as well as they did this past season (45.9 percent). They scored the most total points since the 2006-2007 season, before Gilbert Arenas got silly. Eight years.

The Wizards attempted (1704), and made (647) the most three-point shots in their franchise's history. Their field goal percentage from beyond the arc this past season (38 percent) was the third-highest total in franchise history and best since the 2001-2002 season. Thirteen years.

And exactly 90 percent of made three-pointers this past season came from an assist, good enough for second-best in the NBA.

Not surprising. Most of our shots come within the flow of the offense. We don't have any boneheads that just saunter down the court and hoist up a shot.
