Should I include Beal in the title?
YOUR Washington Wizards lead the series 3-1.
Nene Hilario RETURNS! #FreeNene
Keys to the game:
-Keep moving the ball, get great looks
-Do not let Dunleavy or Augustin go off
-Protect the boards, STOP GIBSON SOMEHOW
-No turnovers.. ISO Ball is a turnover with this team
-Make FREE THROWS
-PLAY WITH INTENSITY!
Also, #FireGrunfeld... still. For good measure.

Hopefully Nene is well rested, between the off days and such, he got 4 days rest which is huge for him.
BTW, if the Wiz close it out I'm thinking Game 1 of the East Semifinals will be Saturday unless Hawks/Pacers goes 7.

Keep playing D like Game 4, only with Nene to stop Gibson.
Offensively, I thought the Wizards were nearly perfect in Game 4. Except for a few bad long 2's by Wall, their shot selection was superb. Frankly, they could easily have won by a lot more except Gortat couldn't make a layup and the refs were horribly one-sided. Even during that cold stretch of the 4th quarter, the Wizards were getting quality shots. It may be that they have simply figured out Chicago's defense. If that's the case, they should score 95+ points in Game 5. That should be enough to win the game unless Chicago gets another flukey performance like the Dunleavy explosion.
If the refs call the game fairly for 48 minutes, it should be a cakewalk for Washington. If the refs let Gibson, Boozer and Noah push people in the back for offensive boards and foul driving offensive players with impunity, then it could be close.
I counted at least 3 occasions where Boozer or Gibson shoved a Wizards player into a Bulls player while the Bulls player was shooting or rebounding and the ref ended up calling the foul on the Wizard that was shoved.

We are doomed because Ji started that pseudo game thread that Miller locked, albeit too late. The jinx is in play
Thanks Ji.

a few thoughts. 1 is that this is the game to win. Dont depend on closing it out back home in 6 because they will have momentum and all the pressure will have shifted to us since game 7 is in Chicago. It reminds me of the last time we won a series against them. When they went up 2-0, we won the next 2, and then everyone was saying the easiest game to get from here on will be that game 5 when they are down and we have the momentum. In that game we jumped on them big time and were up by like 20 something I beleive. Then they came back and Gil hit the game winner.
I hope we can jump on them like we have been. We lost one game and that was the only game they said they werent focused. Stay locked in and be ready to finish them. If we start fast we will get super confident like smelling blood while the Bulls & their fans will be extremely nervous and realizing that we are just too good for them. I actually hope they do start Taj. He's been killing it coming off the bench but if he has to start against Nene then I think he may not do nearly as well.
Like Nate said, keep playing D. The bottom line is that if we just give full effort on D and move the ball on O then they cant stop us and we can stop them easily. We are just too talented so if we match their intensity and play the right way then we win, plain & simple. Besides all that, it would be great to see Wall find his scoring touch. Some on here are criticizing him but if you go on different Bulls forums they are saying that he's still the one giving them the most problems. He's controlling the tempo, pushing the pace to fast for them to keep up, and finding guys at ease. Everyone is playing great and we are playing great team ball so if Wall ever regains his scoring touch then we can play with nearly anyone. Anyone

If Boozer starts again, I think I would start Booker and let Nene come off the bench to battle Gibson. I think Nene will have better success on Gibson and Booker showed he can handle Boozer.
I have no confidence the refs will crack down on the Bulls as they have let them get away with murder since the series started. I watched the game again last night on DVR after being there in person. You are right about multiple plays where the refs allowed the Bulls to come over the back or push players from behind. There was one sequence when Gibson pushed Booker in the back to get an offensive rebound and then Boozer shoved Wall into Gibson and they called the foul on Wall. How can the refs miss both of those fouls. I think they are swallowing their whistles because the NBA wants to see the series get dragged out.
In addition to the refs, I just see the Bulls using desperation and their home crowd to get win. I predicted the Bulls would steal one of the games at the Verizon Center, win at home, and then lose to us in Game 6. I am still sticking to that prediction, but I hope I am wrong.

Pacers getting BDFO by the Hawks in their own dojo,
We win this game, Hawks next round? How did we do against them in the regular season? I have a feeling we split the series, I know we beat them at least once right? I think, like Chicago, we match up well with them and should dispatch them in 7 games.... then....
EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS BABY
ALL HAIL LORD GRUNFELD
Smash the cHeat and we'll face the Blazers in the Finals
Wall and Beal's first rings.
