I doubt Rice Jr. plays today. If he wasn't good to go yesterday, 1 day probably won't make a difference. But at least we have Nene and Blair back.
This should be a win, especially considering Witt probably tore this team a new one for their defensive effort yesterday.

If they lose this game I'm gonna take a break from this team. There is no excuse to losing to a team like this at all.

Garrett Temple does not deserve to start on an NBA team in 2014. The experiment is beyond ridiculous, put your best players on the court and go. Put Porter in at the 2, there will be better spacing because of it. This is why I didn't like Temple coming back, strip the team of players Witt loves (like Temple) and force him to play others, like Rice and Porter. We're never going to know what we have if these kids don't play.

I don't mean to be THAT guy but is this not our logo now?

Anywho, as to the game. Hopefully it was a wake up call for everyone. Half hearted defensive effort won't beat good teams. I also think ORL is an extremely athletic team, cannot take anything for granted in this league. That SHOULD be the message resonating in the locker room right now. Hope to see the guys redeem themselves.

If having Garrett Temple in your starting lineup isn't a valid excuse to lose a game then I don't know what is.

wholeheartedly agree. why are they not putting porter in there, at least while beal is out?

Temple at the 2 is what we deserve with a below average coach.

Stop it, Porter can't play the two.

What does that have to do with this game?? Right now the nightmare for the Wiz is having a guy like Temple starting and playing +30 mins a game and Porter playing backup Pierce minutes. I could care less if Porter isn't a 2 guard he needs to be there until we can get at least Rice back. Temple is horrible. Temple starting this game is not a guarantee win.

Oh, that's Kyle O'Quin. Whoever that is.
What is this, an NBDL team?

not sure why you say that. I think the least you can say is that he
can probably play the 2 better than Temple. Is the 2 ideal for him?
Maybe not. Doesn't mean he can't play there. This is an emergency
until Rice can play. It might even continue beyond that.

Let Porter build up his confidence playing 24-30 minutes per game. It doesn't matter who starts but who finishes. Temple was doing a good job in containing Wade in the last game until the 4th quarter. Wade had 9 points before but ended up with 12 in the 4th quarter.
I'd be open to playing Porter more and Temple less. But it really doesn't matter who starts but what the minute distribution is. Perhaps Temple should have seen around 6-12 minutes which could have gone to Porter or others.
Seraphin is the guy that needs to be cut out of the rotation if he puts up another bad performance. Garrett Temple had 7 rebounds while KSLife had 0.
