Otto.

Not just how many, but when.

Net, not gross.

Super efficient tonight.

This is actually kind of hard to pinpoint, I thought most guys played damn well. I guess I'll give it to Porter since he made timely 4th quarter shots. The bigs played very well today, props to em.

I feel like Otto had more than just 2 stls. He was everywhere.

I drafted Porter as my last pick in my 12 person league for the lulz, he's actually been paying dividends, him AND gortat :P

I bet you meant Porter, JWiz.

I voted Nene, but it easily could have been Otto, Gortat, Wall, or even Temple. It was a team win.

The reason I voted Nene had to do with the difference his presence on the floor makes. He was 10-11 at one point this game. Nene is passing big to big well. He's hitting all his shots. He's intimidating opponents.

That said, Gortat was just about as efficient ...

I said other, because it really seemed like a team victory, and I'd elect Temple to pick up the prize. Maybe the only time he'll get it, and the other names will likely have other shots.

I went with John. The head of the snake at both ends of the court. He was disruptive on defense, and forced a ton of fouls on his counterparts when he had the ball in his hands. 19/10/5/5/1 block is a hellofa stat stuffing line. I like seeing him start out pissed and hungry to defend home court with his defensive intensity.

No, I meant Pierce. His selfless act of taking himself out of the game was leadership at its best. He Da Real MVP!

Can't find the replay but I loved the stank face Wall gave to Bayless after he locked him up and shut him down on that face-up block. Video here:

That's just nasty. Gary Payton effect defense.

Nene! Gortat very close. Don't forget Marcin's 3 juicy blocks.

By the way god bless Adam Silver. I love the stat geekery interactiveness of the NBA web site. The fact that you can slice and dice and get video for every single item in the box score. BBall geek heaven. A long way away from trying to piece out images of games you didn't see by poring over the tiny little numbers in the newspaper.

John's game logs.

Wall set the tone defensively and offensively. Otto played well, but no better than Temple who is not in the poll. Nene and Gortat played well individually and together but got to go with Wall for his impact on both ends.

The blocks helped Gorty win it for me. He was a force at both ends. Can't give it to Wall, because Knight out-played him most of he game. Porter came close, but I'd like to see him turn some of those 2's to 3's.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Board suggestion. Make the Game Thread and POTG thread in one thread.

I think it would be interesting to try just updating the game thread to include the POTG polls instead of making them two separate threads.

Its not like we are running out of pages in the games thread, and it keep the conversation going in one place instead of dividing it while people are actively talking about the game.

And it you ever look to revisit a game thread, you get it all in one place.

Would be worth giving it a try for a few games and see how it goes. My guess is there would be more votes for POTG and more conversation about the game because everyone will be in one place instead of divided.
