Following a thrilling 2OT win versus the Boston Celtics, led my an emotional PG John Wall, YOUR Washington Wizards head to Florida and a southeast division match-up with the Orlando Magic.

The Wizards Monday night victory was remarkable for Wall's second OT performance, scoring the final 10 points in the second extra period and willing his team to victory. The game also featured SF Paul Pierce passing the great Reggie Miller to move into 16th place in the NBA's all-time scoring list. Pierce also featured prominently in the game, racking up 28 points including a clutch 3-pointer to tie the first OT and allow the home team to get to the second extra frame.

The Orlando Magic are led by local kid PG Victor Oladipo. They've strung together two straight wins coming into the game, both against Western Conference opponents. SG Evan Fournier, SF Tobias Harris, and PF Channing Frye can all shoot the rock from distance.

Let's meet the starting lineups.

Should be a tough game to win. Orl is better then their record.

We have won both so far and I had this projected as a win in my preseason prediction but its not going to be easy. Actually, so far, our record is exactly where I predicted it so far this season. But the schedule will eventually get tougher so unless they can prove to have another gear, the win rate will eventually drop some.

Orl mostly has lost to good teams recently, and they have a tough schedule coming up with

WAS, ATL, ATL, TOR then at BOS. And as we saw, Bos with Smart back is a young team on the rise. A win tonight would be huge for them. They are fight to be a legit team this year and get into the playoffs.

With Ben Gordon back, they finally have a big whole filled, back up SG. But now Vucevic is questionable with a back.

Shutting down Tobias will be key to the game.

Important win for both team. For the Wizards, they need to stop as many wins early as they can. And they have LAC next. Wizards lost their last two road games. Time to get back on track.

Yes, he does.

The best Wiz shooters are:

Code: Select all

#  Name   FT%

1. Butler 92.3
2. Pierce 83.3
3. Gortat 78.6
4. Wall   77.7
5. Porter 77.4

I thought it was mistake...
it seems He has improved his FT % about 10% from 68% to 78% it's huge

quick comparison with DeAndre Jordan 38% it looks much better:P and He thinks He will get 20m/year contract

I game, regardless of Orlando being a scrappy team, we need to win especially with all the top 5 teams in the conference all within two games of each other.

What's Nene's status for tonight?

We already have two wins over Orlando, but I expect a loss tonight.

O'Quinn is a better defender than Vucevic. They have good athletes who are playing well lately.

The Vagic are no scrubs but tonight is the night Beal breaks out of his mini-slump.

Wiz 105
Vag 93

Beal goes for 25+.

Orlando is coming of three days rest while Washington is on one day rest following a back-to-back that included a double OT game.

Not sure I like how this sets up.

Nene will play tonight and come off of the bench on a minutes restriction.

We've played some pretty mediocre ball in that two game set vs. the Celtics. Hopefully we get things back on track with another ass whooping before a showdown with the Clippers on Friday.

Awesome, the bench will be better. We might not have surrendered that lead against boston if he was available. Gooden was not playing well at all.

Beal is due. Hope you're right, RustyMagoo.

It's also been a while since Otto Porter hasn't sucked.

I would have held Nene out again to be honest. I'd like to have him fresh for when we face the clippers.

I'm curious as to where the Magic plan to go. Vuc is a legit offensive center, and an improving defender. Oladipo is probably going to be a good pro, not sure who to compare him to but his work ethic is tremendous. Not a huge fan of his jumper though. I don't know what to make of Elfrid..They also have some decents 4s....they're young....I feel like they just need one solid veteran to help stabilize them. They don't have any transcendent talent like OKC to simply rely on young guys the whole time.

Don't forget we're a young team.
