Who? Knicks(5-32) at Wizards(23-11)
What? After their 2-3 western road trip the Wizards come back to DC for a two game home-stand. First up, the struggling New York Knicks. So far the Wizards are 2-0 vs the Knicks, with the most recent game on national TV on Christmas day. In that game Wall was sensational with 24 11 and 6, while Carmelo Anthony dropped 34 in a losing effort. Also memorable in that game, Quincy Acy threw a punch at Wall near the end of regulation that got him ejected. The punch missed Wall and hit Nene in the chest, which prompted Nene to ask Acy, "did chu hurt your hand?" It will be interesting to see if that somehow comes into play tomorrow night.
Where? The Verizon Center
When? 7pm January 7th
TV? CSN+
The Great Wall sees all!
Melo calls upon the power of the Triangle!
One team one goal:
Kick the Knicks!

Caramello is literally carrying the team on his back to a 5-28 record. He puts the cule in herculean.
But wait, the Knicks just acquired Lance Thomas. It's a new game!

What do you mean "literally"? Have you seen him giving Acy a piggy back ride?

Updated my "who's gonna win" calculator and...I've got Washington with an 85% of winning tonight against the Knicks.
Latest projection has Wizards winning 51-54 games this season.
It sure helps to be in the East.

Explain that 15% please, Kevin.
Is there a 15% Chance the Wizards team bus explodes?

Should be another easy win. It's kinda like in college basketball when you play a tomato can right before a big conference rival(in this case, playing the Knicks before the showdown with the Bulls on Friday).

It's a competitive game -- there's always a chance.
Basketball-Reference has Washington as a 79% favorite -- 3rd strongest favorite of the night behind Golden State (81%) vs. Indiana and the Clippers (80%) vs. the Lakers.

I think the Wizards could win with only 4 guys on the court at a time.
The Knicks were already horrible but without Melo and after trading away Shumpert/Smith they are one of the worst teams i have ever seen.

@ Melo's version of the triangle.

I don't see how we lose this game unless we start attempting to score on our own basket. They have no Melo or Stoudemire for the game andjust traded away Shumpert and Smith meaning who and the hell can score for them. Of available players to them their highest scorers are Hardaway, Jr. at 11.1 ppg, Jose Calderon at 9.4, and Jason Smith at 7.1. If we lose,

.
They also just released Dalembert, not that it makes any difference.

the 1st home game back off a road trip is always a trap game that you can easily lose, even against an inferior team. However, since we only went 2-3 on the trip, I think guys guards are up and they want to play well. Its sometimes scary playing against all these backups who are motivated to prove themselves and win without the big names but if we are a real team then we cant let that stunt us
