I like the uniforms, I'd prefer if they got rid of that God awful team name already.

I'm fine w/ letting Wale and Kanye design a "pride" jersey. Pride jerseys (e.g., POR's "Rip City" jersey, DET's "Motor City" jersey, MIA's new, terrible "Black Tie" jerseys) are separate from the primary home/away, and they're separate from the alts, too. Several teams carry four unis -- not counting the special event jerseys (e.g., St Patty's, XMas, Latino History Month) the NBA doles out to the teams they're pushing that year.

So if Wale isn't blowing smoke, I say let him design a pride uni for DC. I'd certainly buy a "Chocolate City" jersey.

Heh. I just checked on Twitter, etc. This a fun li'l story and it's generating some buzz for the team. That's Wale's "job", right?

But Kanye is such a wannabe fashion designer. I cant wait for these to be gaudy, disgusting overdesigned sh*t that everyone will love simply because Kanye did it.
