Entering the final 28 game into the playoffs.

Wall leads the league in

Ast per game 10.1
Ast total 546
Best DRPM for PGs at 2.66.

Averaging 17.4 pts 10.1 assist 1.9 steals 4.5 rebounds .5 blocks in 35.7 mins

Just an all around balanced PG coming into his own. This year he added a floater and some post up. And there is still more to come.

And a pretty freakn awesome person to boot. I always say, its not just skill. I want to respect the players on the team I root for. Its a team of good dudes and Wall is right there at the top of the list.

We are watching the making of a WallStar

In a different system with better spacing, Wall could easily be a 20 & 11 player right now.

Imagine what he could do in place of Jeff Teague in Atlanta with Millsap & Horford as his bigs?

Yup. It would be unreal. Wall makes skip passes and kick-out passes better than any guard in the league. It would be a 3-pt bonanza. Just run the pick-and-pop with Horford, and have Millsap, Korver and Carroll standing behind the arc. The worst shot that would come out of every possession would be a wide open 18-footer from Horford (who shoots .514 from outside of 16 feet).

Man. Wall looks like he is playing with very little confidence in regards to getting his own pts. Near the end there he had a wide open 3 when they needed it and he was afraid to take it.

Wall says he is looking for the right time to get some rest. He is banged up.

I was actually kind of hoping they would ride Sessions to the finish line. He was actually playing with a lot more confidence and what he was doing out there.

Wait what ? When did Webster get in for 2 mins. Why would Randy do that instead of checking another game off his 180 count ? He had done that twice now in the last 8 games. Amazing.

I refuse to entertain a negative Wall thread. He will and can be GREAT. He just needs to a team around him.

Wall is great a lot of the time.

He's also not great at times and is even bad occasionally.

When Wall shoots 3-14, but Nene and Gortat combined go 8-14 someone needs to point it out.

Wall will be better off with a great coach.

John Wall plays through the pain as Wizards try to emerge from funk

Well here is part of the problem, was this what prompted the Miller trade?
Tank 19/20, trade Brad, Top-5 pick in 2020.

Wall doesn't get enough credit for his durability. The guy has played in 194 consecutive games despite his manic, high-risk style of play. With the exception of his one long injury break with the knee issue in late 2012, he hasn't missed a game in 4 years.

Averaging .376 FG% in the past month... give this man some rest! Making the playoffs won't matter if Wall feels and shoots like crap
