WIZARDS
Go get Javale. McGee has weathered a storm and the very best thing you can do is show him love by saying no hard feelings, come on HOME.
He's going to this time have great Wizards teammates and you don't have to pay him much. Just welcome him back.
While you're at it, welcome back Glen Rice, Jr.

McGee would be an interesting reclamation project. But he first needs to hit rock bottom. He's got to make a decision whether he wants to be a great basketball player or not. If he does some soul-searching during this time off, maybe he'll get his mind right and come back as a more focused player. But it's going to take some time. I definitely wouldn't add him this year.

HE BLOCKS SHOTS AND THIS TEAM NEEDS A PHUCKING LAUGH
CHECK HIS REBOUND RATE
AT WORST YOU WAIVE HIM
AT BEST YOU SAVE HIM AND HE CLOWNS IN THE PLAYOFFS
I remember one very good playoff game he had against Andrew Bynum. People need to forgive, forget, and embrace change. McGee owes the Wizards for his great salary that he will earn. Ted Reverend Dr King Leonsis said some snitty things about Javale and his mother during contract year. But that's business. BE THE BIGGER MAN and bring him back.
Bringing back Shelvin Mack was RIGHTEOUS. Shouldn't have cut him when they did the first time IMO.
Bringing back RICE is a chance for Wittman to cleanse himself from even the perception of being and unforgiving blow hard.
The Wizards have nothing at all to lose bring back McGee OR Rice. (Not time to waive anyone).

Give him this chance. If he fails that will be his rock bottom.
Blow smoke rings up his butt to tell him how much you thought he'd achieve his potential in DC and you'd like for him to consider Washington first. McGee if he can run and catch lobs and dunks is EXACTLY WHAT THIS TEAM NEEDS.
nate, he is what he is. Try no value judgments and forget the past.
Get him on the cheap and see if he wants to play just by how hard he gets after it.
I wonder if his legs are okay.

Ya know, I actually wouldn't have a problem with bringing Javale back.
Make it happen EG.(Assuming he's healthy)

I just don't think the team is going to want the distraction this season. Next year is a different story though. They may cut Seraphin for long term cap purposes (fingers crossed) and they will need another big man who can be signed on a cheap, short-term deal. McGee could work.
I wonder if McGee and Wall got along? I think Seraphin is the only other guy still on the roster who was on the roster when McGee was here.

John thought McGee was unprofessional.
At least I think I read that.

EG would never back pedal on a move he's made. He's way too stubborn.

I think he can succeed with a fresh start - ala Whiteside. But it's gotta be a fresh start - not with a team he's been with.

I would be psyched to see him back in DC- against all reason and good sense.
Of course there would be any number of people standing in the way, saying - over my dead body- starting with Randy Wittman and Pam McGee. Probably the only thing they'd ever agree on.

Have you ever seen two kids in a special needs class argue?

You're probably right.
Personally, I am just dumb enough to admit I would sex either of my repugnant, treacherous, deceitful ex-wives if there were many many safeguards to protect me from their whims.
I still have kids by them and a part of me thinks years worth of problems can be hammered out (pardon the pun) with a kiss or a smile or a touch or with flowers.
Cash works, too.

Respect both ways and mutual goals would need to be in place if McGee were re-acquired.

I feel like going Lou Williams on my ex-wives.

Would be great energy off the bench. I would much rather watch him, shaqtin a fool moments and all, rather than Sky Hook Seraphin.

It's not really backpedaling though. He acquired Nene, and now he reacquires McGee.

CCJ, you and I cheered on hopes for McGee when few did. I wanted it to work out for the young man.
That said..
Now way will they take him back. That ship has sailed. And I agree they shouldn't. The young man wasted so much talent and he had his chances. But alas, he would rather be a planking Cinnamon swallowing fool than a quality basketball player.

Hated him while he was a Washington Wizard.
Was overjoyed when we traded him for Nene.
Haven't had one day of regret over that yet.
Have no interest in ever seeing him in a Wizards jersey ever again. Whether it's for one or ten million dollars.
