Game Thread: Miami @ Washington 3/6 7:00

I don't care enough to make a nice game thread, but since nobody else started one, here it is.

Miami is trying to hang onto the 7th seed. Bosh is out for the season.

We are trying to stay ahead of Milwaukee (2 games back) for the 5th seed. Humphries is listed as out for tonight. A win keeps us in front of Milwaukee. A loss means one step closer to Grunfeld being fired. Pick a side.

I can't root for a loss even if it's for the greater good. We need Nene to get under Whiteside's skin and cause him to get ejected from the game in the first quarter. Actually, I'm surprised he wasn't suspended for the altercation the other day - as far as I know, anyway.

Hate to say it, Miami has become my 2nd favorite team to watch. Whiteside might be my 2nd favorite player behind Wall. It's no stretch to say Whiteside might be a top 5 player in the league right now.

I have never watched Whiteside play. Just highlights. That is my main reason for watching tonight (that and it's Friday night and I have no social life)

What's really sad about the whole Whiteside situation, is that something like that would never happen here. Randy/EG would never change the way they play mid-season based on the promise and upside of a guy that isn't considered one of the "building blocks" of the franchise. If someone like Whiteside got an invitation to play here, they would never leave the bench.

Hasan is monster in rebounding like Rodman in the past. Sorry but Gort, Nene and KS or who will gonna play will be demolished out there.
It's a win - win situation for me. If we win great if we lose maybe Randy will lose his job... finally. No bad ending :D

Sort of written this season off already.

Fully expect the Wizards to drop another one.

Oh nevermind, no Deng no Wade in the starting lineup, then again, didn't slow down the Bulls.

Well, nice to see that the Wizards are making a concerted effort to get into their offense more quickly.

Pierce on top of the key with some key passes early.

Holy cow! Has Randy learned how to coach an offense? Wide open 3s everywhere!

Never mind Miami is pretty much starting their bench except for Whiteside. Impossible to lose this one.

Even I can't hate on that Gooden put back dunk. Thats the most physically impressing thing I've seen out of him in a LONG time.

Leave it to Seraphin to pick up a foul within 10 seconds of play.

Gooden making a jumper early in a game is the worst thing that can happen.

He won't stop shooting, and Randy won't sit him.

This offense doesn't look like a Randy Wittman offense, then again this is a preseason squad for the Heat. But you could prolly say the same about the Wolves and Sixers game and look how that turned out >.>
