The 2015 NBA playoffs are finally underway and the Washington Wizards are on the road in Canadian territory to face the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre for Game 1.

This has to be the scouting report on us:

1) Keep Wall in front of you and the Wiz will chuck a long two or throw the ball away.
2) Get ready to rebound after said long twos, or when Sessions bricks another runner off the back of the iron.
3) String together some stops in the 2nd or 3rd quarter- the Wiz will roll over and curl up in the fetal position.
4) Encourage the refs to be gentle with Randy- the Wizards only chance may be for him to get T'd up and tossed.

Really, the biggest challenge for the Raps will be overconfidence- and I wish I were joking.

Awful matchup for us. We're going to get smoked by their SGs.

The PF position will be trouble too. Long athletic players and shooters.

I think we'll play them much better than we did in our regular season match ups. But I think we'll probably lose in 6 or 7.

I think this series is a lot closer than some may think. Derozan will be a problem hopefully Beal will have some better showing against him. The real X-factor is Nene. He hasn't played well against this squad, but with all the rest he got down the stretch maybe he'll surprise us.

Expect Gooden and PP at S4 at lots more in this series.

If they start Nene or not ... I'm not sure. But they will use more Gooden and PP at S4.

Truth is a Raptor killer. Been one for a while now. And playing him at S4 is something they have been saving up for just such a match up in the playoffs. Just like BRK did them last year.

The key to this series is less Nene. More PP, Gooden and Hump.

And making sure we get up enough 3s. Not going to beat them 2pts at a time. This isn't Wiz vs MEM.

Open the floor. Let Wall drive. Feed Gortat who schools young V. Get to the line. And chase them off the 3 line.

Hopefully Randy has figured this out by now. You could literally get away with 12 mins of Nene off the bench at back up center.

Only way this series is competitive is if Pierce and Nene look like new players. They have been resting a lot so I do think that they can play well but we don't just need them to play well - we need them to turn back the clock.

And for the record, I have Toronto winning the series 4-2.

Unless nene and hump start popping 3s I don't think we'll have enough spacing offensively to compete. 4-2 toronto is my guess. Would like to be wrong after sleeping on it overnight.

You have to attack Val, he's a mediocre defender.

Don't settle for jumpshots, because the Raptors can't defend the paint. Chase them off the three point line.

The players need to execute the gameplan, because it's a simple one. The Craptors are a very easy team to defend if you keep them off the three point line.

At this point I'm seeing 4-3 in either direction, but whoever gets to the second round is food for Atlanta.

I'm not nearly as confident as I was last year when we opened with Chicago. Toronto is just a brutal matchup and we have never been successful playing up in Canada(even when we had our good Arenas teams vs. some bad Raptors teams).

The optimist in me says we can win in 6, but the realist in me says the Raptors in 5.

Here is the worst part about it.

Tip off is at 12:30 pm. It's pretty much an automatic Loss. lol.

Lou Williams destroys us consistently. Philly, Atlanta, Toronto never seems to matter.

Game 4 vs. Chicago last year IIRC was a super early start and we won that one going away.

The Raps love to hang around the perimeter and shoot 3s all day. If we can defend the 3 and have them playing iso, we can take the series. When the Raps get into playing ISo with Lou Williams or Derozan, they stink.

Raps have been playing iso ball all season and they don't just chuck 3's all day..a large portion is also contested long-range 2's.

Hope you guys try to take us out of our comfort zone by making us move the rock and attempt efficient shots.
