Less than 1 week to go.
Eyes all over the world will be focused on Baltimore.
Only the great city of Baltimore is capable of organizing such an event.

Here's hoping the Caps close it out in Game 6. It would be bad to blow another 3-1 lead.

^ Baltimore 2013.

When was the last time there was a Super Bowl parade in DC?
The last time there was a Super Bowl parade in DC..... Fried Green Tomatoes, Father of the Bride and Juice were all still being shown in local movie theaters.
That's how long it has been.

Upon further inspection of my newspaper clippings, my picture perfect memory was spot on.
Father of the Bride was being shown at Union Station & Skyline.
Juice was being shown over at the Mount Vernon Multiplex.

Yep, skipped work and went. Watched from the grassy area across from Bureau of Engraving, directly below much of the flight path.

Nope I missed it.
But I saw part of it on the news.
They should have given a live demonstration and shown everyone just what those aircraft are capable of.
Now that would have been AWESOME!

Just a quick question for the mods to check. I remember the 100 page thread size limit and 100 page board size limit were introduced a few years ago, ostensibly for space reasons. In casually looking around at other boards, it appears that the board size limit is not enforced at all anymore and the thread size limit is only enforced diligently here and on a few other boards. Are those policies actually gone now at the RealGM corporate level?

Hmmm...this is a good point, BigA.

To be perfectly honest, I just do this out of habit. I'll ping admins to see if we're still supposed to do this.

Thanks for the observation.

Thanks, Pine. I remember when those limits were put in some of the longtime WizBoard folks were salty about the original Politics thread being cut (IIRC it was over a thousand pages at that point).

It's not a huge deal to me, but if it's not necessary anymore to reset things like the trade thread, this thread, etc., it would make it easier to settle some of the arguments we have here about who was right or wrong 5 years ago.

This music f*cking blows I cannot wait until the ABC NBA contract ends.
CBS or NBC need to seriously step in and pick it up again.

Hawks will win next game at home and then finish off the gentrified Bullets in game 6 or game 7.

Checked with admins.

They want us to continue to cut off threads at 100 pages and start new ones to continue them.

Thanks for the note, though, BigA.
