I figured I would start one, so we can talk about the summer league team, the guys, staff, and the games.
here is what we know so far. We have
Rodrigue Beaubois, Ousmane Drame, Damion James, Orlando Johnson, Scott Machado, Toure Murry, Dez Wells, Traevon Jackson, Kelly Obure JR and Aaron White.

Who do we want to see more of and who do we want to see get an actual shot at the team? Also who else should we bring in?

I wonder what happened to Beaubois. I was interested in seeing if he had regained whatever he had lost over the past 1-2 years.

Maybe he got a better deal else where? Or maybe we are letting him skip mini camp? Who knows?

I notice that both Khem Birch and Cliff Alexander are on the Nets SL team. I wish they were on ours.

To tell the truth, I'd probably sign Alexander to a training camp make good contract right now. A year ago he was one of the top dozen rated kids coming out of high school. He got on Self's s**t list at Kansas it seems, as did Oubre for a while. But when you look at Alexander's numbers, they were extremely good for a Freshman. 12 boards per 40 w/ a good % of them being offensive rebounds, TS%=.60, and he blocks shots at a good clip but doesn't turn it over much or foul excessively.

We are so sketchy at the 4 and 5, yet the guy we bring in is Ousmane Drame out of Quinnipiac? Oh well -- he put up good numbers as a senior. Rebounds like crazy, shot 80% from the foul line, blocks shots.

Go Ousmane! And go Aaron White! And (where did you) go Roddy Beaubois?

Watch out for Jarrid Famous, He could be the next Hassan Whiteside. He's going to be 27 in two weeks, and he had a huge year last year in the D league and in China. He put down 18 PPG, 14 rebounds and a block and a half while shooting 73 percent on FT's and 58% from the field with the legends, in 17 games. Then in 7 games in China he put down, 31 PPG, 24 rebounds, 2 blocks, on 53 percent. Big guys are late bloomers, maybe he can go the way of Hassan Whiteside and maybe EG sees that?

I'm going to say Ousmane Drame has the best shot at sticking if he plays well.

Nobody is sticking. We don't have roster room.

Frank Kaminsky is dominating right now beeteedubs. He's going to be such a mismatch when he's in his prime.

We have a spot or two, and you have to remember that trades can happen and spots can open up in an instant. Seriously, keep an eye on Jarrid Famous!!!! They dude has really got his game together!

If Gooden signs, we'll have 14 players on the roster, and EG is trying to find another wing. So barring trades to unload, I don't see anyone from SL sticking. Not even White. Who'll probably get stuck overseas.

We are loaded with wings as it is, we need big's, and I'm hoping we trade away some of NENE Webster Blair and Sesisons. All are movable, there are opportunities out there to move them.

also worth watching other team's summer league rosters. Nets have a lot of young 4s worth monitoring. Alexander, Jefferson, Birch, mitchell etc... I'd look to see who does well on other team's rosters and get cut cause of roster space as well.

As far as our roster...hopefully Oubre shows well...White too...I don't see space for Wells anymore regardless how he plays unless something is happening behind closed doors. Jerrid Famous looks like a big dude. That alone might make him worth watching.

Famous flunked-out with two NBA teams, but he might indeed be a player to snatch as a 3rd big. Teams in similar situations sign this type of player right away on a non-guaranteed contract.

I think Washington is dumb. Having Humphries and pursuing resign of Gooden, while not drafting a PF who will stick, is just dumb.

I'm hoping Blair actually gets a chance to see minutes.

He always has been better than Seraphin.

He's better than Gooden, too.
