Days after a convincing *preseason* victory over the youthful, rebuilding, 76ers squad, YOUR Washington Wizards return to the friendly confines of the phone booth for a Friday night matchup with the evil New York Knicks.

It's preseason, so you can't take too much from games, but perhaps the home team fans will get their first glimpse of SF Kelly Oubre , Jr. Oubre was nursing a sprained ankle ahead of the Wizards' first preseason game vs Philly.

The 76ers are a hapless lot these days, and -- altogether differently -- so are the Knicks. Oubre is going to go for 40 tomorrow night.

Porzingis gets 20, so Knicks fans are happy.

Looking forward to see how the team responds when those threes aren't dropping.

Knicks should represent a better test than the lowly Sixers.

Not sure how much a test the Knicks will be. Of course Knick fans think they'll be in contention
for the postseason (I'd be shocked).

I'm going to be out of town Friday night. Have 2 tickets that I'm not using...would like to donate them
to a RealGMer.

The Knicks loved Grant's first outting and they have more depth in their front court, maybe the Knicks won't be as hapless as the Sixers.

I'll be interested to see Porter defend Melo—that'll be a test on how he defends bigger, stronger forwards.

I have a lot of faith in Otto Porter making Carmelo have to play both ends of the court. Otto hits threes, rebounds, and cuts to the basket for lay ups.

Porter can make up for his slight frame like Rip Hamilton made up for his. Movement and offensive pressure applied to guys like Carmelo.

Looking forward to seeing another Wizards game tonight!

First game loved the tempo and offensive style carried over from the playoffs!

Encouraged by Porter's fit in this style, offensive contribution and well rounded game.

Hump and Gooden as stretch 4. Envision Dudley there as well.

Like this style with an eye on (next year) Gortat, KD, Porter, Beal, Wall, with Oubre off the bench, plus add another 1st round draft pick to the mix.

Like Nene as backup center.

Like Gary "the substitute Real Deal" Neal looking like a legit backup to Beal we lacked.

Sessions knowing his role off the bench.

Glad to see Oubre get some run tonight.

I've seen Sessions ballhog on three different occasions. Oubre had an alley-oop opportunity and Sessions just decided to ignore him and take a stupid layup attempt.

I hope he doesn't do this in the regular season.
