Official Thread: Toronto. Raptors vs Washington Wizards (8-1-16)

Post#1 » by Tricky_Kid » Fri Jan 8, 2016 7:40 am

Our Washington Bullets will face again the best canadian team (it sounds funny but it`s true) Toronto Drakes I mean... Raptors or I should use proper realgm name (CRAP)tors ;)
Bullets coming out after dissapointing loss against Cavs where missed FT`s, idiotic rotations by mastermind Randy Wittless (especially in final quarter) and poor game our star John Wall. This will be third attempt to win over #WeTheSwept team.

Positives: Nene is back!
Negatives: Neal is back yaay...

Was lineup:
Wall
Temple
Otto
Dudley
Gortat

Tor lineup:
Lowry
Dekobe
Carroll
Scola
JV

Where: Verizon Centre DC
When: 7 PM EST

My good luck charm:
Golshifteh Farahani

She's a lot hotter than Drake. Sounds better too.

Carroll is out for the next two months. Raptors will probably start James Johnson.

Is there a reason you guys don't call him Jimmy Johns?

You can steal that but I want credit.

In America, our date nomenclature is month-date-year. I don't know what insane nomenclature Canadians use, but the game is definitely not on August 1st.

Yeah, we're actually the odd-balls of the world, but we do it that way because... we can? Everywhere in Europe, it's day-month-year, which makes more sense.

I actually had a good friend growing up named Jimmy Johns. We used to play basketball one-on-one pretty regularly on Saturday or Sunday mornings - until the big kids came to the court. He'd usually win - he was a lot more talented... and cheated, nah he was just better. He's definitely not the guy who created the Sammich franchise.

True, I've never quite understand why it's not simple day-month-year in the US. It's more logical than month-day-year, isn't it? ;-)

The Redskins might be in a deep playoff run and the Caps are the best team in hockey.

Sorry but the Wiz are back down to the basement of fan interest. I expect 50% at least Raptor fans in the house tonight.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Logic isn't the US strong suit.
