The anticipate Ernie's panic trade thread

We have a trade thread, but thought it'd be fun to see trades that are made specifically to predict what Ernie might do.
A trade is likely coming. Reasons:
1. Lack of hype for this draft.
2. Contracts for he and Witt are coming up.
3. You can essentially "buy" a playoff spot with a positive trade given the current EC standings.
4. Team doesn't want to be coming off a losing season when they pitch to Durant.
So what kind of trade do you guys see Ernie going for? Lets see who can get closest. Remember, this is the sort of trade you think Ernie would do, not what you think would be best.
Tips:
1. Veteran talent playing like **** right now but played well in the past.
2. Probably includes first rounder
3. On last year of contract

I think Oubre won't be traded, but the first is the asset we can kiss good bye. As I look at the roster I see plenty of shooting and,as long as Wall is healthy, the required playmaking to get the shooters the ball. What we need is rebounding and more attempts at the line. I could see EG trading for an energy big in an attempt to upgrade the backup PF position.

Don't anticipate any moves. The Wizards don't really have the assets to make an impact deal and I doubt other teams are looking at our vets thinking that one of them might be the missing piece.
Anderson would be interesting, but I doubt the Pelicans are motivated and I'm hoping Grunfeld knows better than to throw away assets for a rental.

Grunfeld trades 1st round pick to Denver for Mike Miller and Randy Foye.
Wizards miss the playoffs and wind up with the 5th pick.
millie's head explodes.

1. EG trades pick
2. Player picked at that spot is highly rated by CCJ and PIF
3. Player has great career
4. We never hear the end of it
Doesn't matter which fill-in-the-blank Mortimer Snerd comes over in return. The important thing is to give up a good young player. That's the beauty of this hardy perennial.

First round picks are always coveted

I don't think EG will make a panic trade. If he does make a trade involving a future pick, it'll be for a reasonably young, reasonably good player on a contract that extends until at least 2018. It'll be a "win now" move, but it won't be a panic move where we sacrifice long term assets in a desperate attempt to win a few more games this season. Something like the Gortat trade might be in the cards, but it's not going to be a Mike Miller type of trade.

#3 isn't even necessary for #4.

I anticipate whatever trade Grunfeld makes if there's any trade at all, it will prove realgm doubters wrong. That seems to have been the pattern lately.

Okay guys. I locked the earlier "I hate Ernie" thread and I also locked Millie's "I love Ernie" thread. The consolidated Ernie thread is the way to go now. Please continue the convo there.
