The Washington Wizards take on the worst NBA team in the Philadelphia 76ers. While there were a lot of positives that came out of a Golden State loss where John Wall had 41 points and 10 assists, the Wizards have still lost 8 of their past 10 home games and it looks like the chances of getting Durant to come Washington are dwindling. The Wizards cannot overlook the 76ers especially since Washington has played poorly at home including a weird loss to the LA Lakers.

Keys to the game:

Marcin Gortat needs to get going against the 76ers where he averaged over 17 ppg and 10 rpg in last year's season series against the 76ers.




Otto Porter needs to find his 3 point shot, especially since he's shooting only 32% from 3 for season; most of which are wide open looks created by John Wall.




Bradley Beal has been shooting the ball better. Beal has had 0 turnovers in his past 2 games. Still, Beal only made 1-7 from 3 point range against the Warriors and may need to be better at contributing on the boards and the defensive end.

Will be at my daughter's school function, but we got this. I have every expecttion that I'll come home and DVR a glorious Wizards victory!

If he isn't playing B2Bs still, I'd actually rest him tonight, and save him for CHA tomorrow. Even Gary Neal ought to be able to be a net positive against PHI.

I think it's the exact opposite. I think a team like Philly is the perfect team to break Beal back in with. You don't want to be making a lineup changeon the road with teams trying to make the playoffs. The time is now

And my point is that he should be playing b2b's now. He was already out twice as long as they said he would be and now he's been back for 3 weeks. You can easily start and manage 28mpg unless you have a crap staff who stands by why we lose game after game. He's not rusty or out of shape anymore so what's the excuse

I think you may have jinxed it - my guess is he will be back as a starter get stress fractures in both his femurs, both his tibias and both his fibulas. EG will immediately lock him up with a 5 year max deal.

And now I see on Castillo's Twitter that he is starting. This is what I've been waiting for. Now itstime for everyone to really jjudge us. We have our true lineup back, Dud isn't out of shape like the start of the year, Wall isn't in November suck mode, and everyone knows the system now. Beal & Porter are better after watching, we have the 2nd easiest schedule the rest of the way, and we should be motivated after playing solid against the champs on the big stage.

I predict we go atleast 25-10 the rest of the way, Wall will look damn near MVP like, him and Beal won't be laughed at again for there backcourt boasting, we will be legit EC contenders, and most trams won't be able to hang with our electric offense. We will be explosive and running teams out the gym

This should be a Monumental victory.

A moral victory?

I want to see more that aggressive Wall. I'm not expecting 40 pts, I just want him to attack more, learn how to draw contact.

Drew Gooden is still so horrible. he should not be asked to guard wing oriented 4s.

We really need a athletic backup center. Blair is such garbage this season.

I know Okafor's just a rookie, but wow is he a bad defender.

Jesus **** Gary Neal such a piece of **** chucker. Has Wall open on the side and takes a fastbreak mid range two. Our clear lack of a bench is so vulgar.
