Underachieving. The Washington Wizards. The Chicago Bulls. Two teams who started the season with high expectations, and have instead provided their respective fan bases with a miserable season experience. Knowing you have a bad team sucks (Sixers). Knowing you have a pretty good team is nice (Boston, Toronto). Knowing you have a contender is great (Warriors, Spurs). Knowing you have a team with a chance is pretty cool (OKC, Clippers, Cavs). Knowing you have a team building something has its moments (Timberwolves, Blazers, Pistons). Not knowing what the hell you have or where you’re going? That’s just constant misery and despair. Even the fleeting moments of joy only serve to remind you that you’re headed for a dead end at the end.

I planned to bet alot of money tonight since Beal is playing and starting only to see that we are favored by 5 with Rose and Butler back. That through me off

Are they not going to guard McDermott tonight? Is that their plan?

so Beal goes to the bench and the Wizards go up by 6? I wonder why?
If Temple is making his 3s, just leave Beal on the bench.

When Temple and Porter are both hitting from 3 (aka "when Mars, Venus, and the moon are in alignment"), we're actually a dangerous team.

Ooh. I wonder if they'll call a flagrant on that one.

Yeah, a Flagrant 1. It was deserved: you can't do a running bulldog on a guy and not get the flagrant call.

You are up by 17 and can bury them and then Wall kind of lets up. And then the rest of the team gets sloppy.

Meanwhile, Jamison's pulling the "back in my day, the game was much more physical" card. Please. What does Jamison know about physicality? His entire offensive game was predicated on his allergic reactions to physical contact. He wasn't exactly an enforcer on the other end, either.

He IS playing through pain.

How many games has Gortat missed this season?
