Now that Screamin A Smith said that the wiz won't get Durant should the Wiz try to get Melo?

This team trading for Carmelo Anthony would definitely be the equivalent of the apocalypse for me. It'd be like watching "The Day after Tomorrow". Every day, until the year 2020, after Carmelo Anthony declines his ETO to get paid 27 million dollars in his age 33-34 season.

And Dwight Howard's pretty available too. Gortat and a future first would get that done. Porter, Beal and a future first for Melo. Wall, Oubre, Melo, MKF, Dwight. Three future HOFers. You could fill out the roster with the Washington Generals and still cakewalk to the title with ease. I don't see any downside. The Washington Wizards: The Future of Now!

Before the season, I felt like Melo should be considered as a Plan B if KD2DC didn't happen. But at this point I'd probably pass.
