I've got no ill will toward Wittman. He's been a decent coach - not great, but not awful either. I don't think the team has any more left to learn from him so it's time for him to go, but I wish him well. It wouldn't surprise me if he got a coaching gig somewhere else in a year or two.

It goes without saying that EG needs to be fired too.

If you were to compare Randy and Ernie, it's clear that Grunfeld deserves to be fired more. EG is a bigger failure of a GM than Randy is as a coach.

As a general matter, I'm sorry to see anyone get fired and I wish Witt the best of luck. As a Wizards fan, I think going in another direction is the right choice, but the person firing him should definitely be the first one out the door...

One down, one more joke to go. Decent guy, but well below average coach. He'd be useful on a staff. That's it. I don't blame Randy. A more experienced coach should have been hired and Randy returned to one of the assistant positions....two years ago!!!

I think Randy took too much criticism - sometimes by me. I think he is right in the middle - as far as NBA coaches. The Wiz got as far as they should have with him at the helm. Getting a quality GM is farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr more important than improving at coach.

He was a weak coach but a good guy. Sorry to see him get fired, especially after the tough year he's had. But it's necessary.

Still just a half measure though unless Grunfeld gets fired too.

Sigh, Brian Windbag. Everyone knew someone was going to bite the bullet for the season. Hate how he brings it to light two days before the Wizards play their last game of the season. At least let the man finish the season in peace.
