We have McCellen and Ochefu signed to not fully garruntted deals, they can be cut for very little at anytime. Eric is playing well, House looks like he could seriously get a look to make the team, the dude plays like a man! It all depends on how scott brooks sees tomas, tomas can play the 1 or the 2 but he is more of a combo 2 guard who can shoot/play D/pass/handle the ball/and create offence. I would keep house I really like him at this point. Tomas can cover PG if needed but I would consider signing another PG as insurance, like vasquez or someone of the like just for insurance. But we should really pick up another big body. Just incase. Jones and hill are still out there, or keep Eric or Ochefu.
So I would keep house and bring another Big or PG in .

Well Brooks on the radio today said Tomas is definitely a pg, and mentioned they can bring him along slowly because they have Wall and Burke.

Wall, Burke, Satoransky
Beal, Thornton
Porter, Oubre
Morris, Nicholson
Gortat, Mahinmi, Smith

Unless I'm missing someone they have 12 locked in with space to add possibly Anderson, Eddie, Ochefu, or someone else. Not sure what they have available to sign anyone else, or what exemptions they might have like the MLE or LLE.

let's make this clear, I don't care what scott brooks says, Tomas is a combo guard and he is not playing behind Burke. Not way he left a tittle contender in europe with out being assured playing time. If he struggles sure, but he won't.

He is definitely not toned in the mid section at the moment lol. Too many late nights hand out scholarships to young ladies in need and hitting the breakfast buffet in the hotel the morning after lol.

He gains a little weight every offseason. It doesn't concern me much, particularly in an offseason when he's been hurt and unable to train hard.

These guys have so much muscle mass that their metabolism is sky high. It only takes about 2 weeks of workouts and dieting discipline to get them back into top shape.

Wow his stomach is worse than mines. But I guess it shouldn't be unexpected since he's been unable to train.

JWall strikes me as the kind of guy who works hard and plays (parties) hard. I don't have a problem with that...or the champagne chugging. It's mid-July, he has plenty of time to lose a little extra fat, especially when his knees get better and he's able to run and compete.

If he is out of shape at the start of preseason, I'll be upset too. But I'm not upset in July.

Yeah... That's not how it works. Either way, Im not concerned with his weight right now. I think you'll see a whole new person in 60-90 days

I noticed that as-well. John has a crap diet and poor nutrition per a Post report during his rookie year. You combine this with very little time in the gym (apparently) and you see the trajectory of someone who is aging and not taking care of himself.

*Coming off double knee surgery is not an excuse, you can still work-out.

A report from John's rookie season? Seems like old news to me. This is from a more recent Wash. Post article--October 2015.

The Washington Wizards want to play at a faster tempo and John Wall is attempting to adjust by improving his nutrition. Wall's top priority is avoiding carbs.

“Not eating too much bad food,” Wall said. “Snacks at night and stuff like that.” Wall talked about the types of foods he's attempting to avoid.

“You know, everything,” Wall said. “Gummy bears, Doritos. You know, the type of snacks you have at the side of your bed.”

I don't doubt that John's diet and eating habits probably still need improvement, but I suspect he's smarter about those things than he was as a rookie.

John has come into the season out of shape most years. Happened last season too. That's why his November was such ****. It's holding him back from being a legit MVP caliber player. If he had Westbrook's competitive fire and work ethic he would be there.

That's part of why this team has been a bunch of underachievers. I think Beal is going to have to grow up and be more aggressive and assertive in the locker room. Wall isn't a fanatically competitive overachiever and he isn't going to crack the whip or lead by example in that way. And you need that to push your locker room to excellence. The Warriors wouldn't have been the Warriors without the personalities of Draymond Green and Andre Iggoudala driving them to extreme effort and excellence in execution.

No reason to be out of shape. Seriously none. He should be using the offseason a to get in BETTER shape, not getting fat and trying to burn it all off right before the season starts
I wonder if Jordan, Kobe, Wade, etc got fat in the offseason?
I mean, the season ended 2-3 months ago, how did he gain that much weight already? He must eat like absolute poopoo
