The Slurs played a meaningful game in December? Who the **** cares.
Given the Wizards road woes so far this season I don't have much faith that Washington is going to do anything to reverse the trend, but I don't think the Rockets are quite as good as they're being made out to be.
That Rockets December schedule was charmin soft and I'd like to believe that with a bit of luck the Wizards might have a chance in this one.
A win here would certainly take the sting out of those silly losses against he Magic, Heat and Sixers of this league but honestly, I don't think the Wizards are ready for what the Rockets can throw at them.
Their bench is among the most productive units in the league and we don't even have to talk about what their starting unit can do.

Go Wizards! Road wins are the best way to "rehydrate the sponge!"

I'm curious why you think the Rockets schedule was soft in December. Is there a statistic such as strength of schedule that you can point to?
From a quick glance, the Rockets played some weak opponents but also the top western conference teams including Golden State, San Antonio, Memphis, and OKC.

Dallas twice, escaped a Boston team that was in the midst of a slide with Thomas having his first game back from injury, Lakers, Denver, Suns twice, Brooklyn, Sacramento, Minnesota, Pelicans, an injury depleted Clippers squad and the Knicks.
Yes, there were four games against quality opponents, but the meat of the schedule were dreadful to below average squads on a home heavy schedule.

Really hating the Morris vs. Anderson matchup in this one, curious to see how Brooks approaches this game.

Eric Gordon is getting paid $12.3 million a year, Thornton is getting paid $1.3 million a year. Ian Mahimi salary could have been allocated towards him although Gordon has an injured riddled past.

But comparatively is it really a soft schedule to an average NBA team? I would argue that the Rockets had a tougher schedule than the Wizards in December.

The Rockets had 15 wins in December. The Wizards have had 16 the entire season. I do like the way the Wizards have been playing lately as they seem to gelling nicely under Brooks although the Wizards are still 3-10 on the road. Perhaps the Wizards can keep up their good play as they are currently 7-3 in their past 10 games.

Hoping Burke's renewed confidence and Brooks redefined role for him adds some scoring potency to our bench. It's a long shot I know but stranger things have happened.

Hey ya'll, raptor fans are having a jerk off session bout their boy Lowry on the general board. Who wants to join me with posts about how he's only about the 5th best PG in the East and watch these p*ssies get triggered? It will put you in a good mood before the Rockets game.

We are severely undermanned for such an operation.
There is nothing to do in Canada in January besides stay in, and post on RealGM.
