The son Thibault is not it.

All season long the execution in the clutch was bad.

So many winnable games. Even with the injuries to Austin, Atkins, Delle Donne, Toliver.

Disappointing season.

Yep. Execution down the stretch was awful. Typical Ted Mom and Pop shixt. Dad hiring son. Let’s hope Winger cleans it up.

No arguments with any of that. One thing I think they need to be honest about
is assessing EDD's ability going forward. To my casual eye, she's a fair distance
from an MVP player at this time. Not saying they should get rid of her. I do wonder if she
can recover the physical abilities to be a truly elite player going forward.

Her numbers are still very good. Not at the MVP years but still upper tier player.

She just turned 34 but said she feels good.

Those are pretty much my thoughts on EDD as well. Still a top talent but injuries and age have slowed her to the point that she probably can no longer be your team’s best player if you expect to compete for a championship.

The Mystics were without a key player in that Liberty series—Shakira Austin. They missed her defense and rebounding. Without her Jonquel Jones had her way on the boards. That offensive rebound by Jones after Ionescu missed those 2 free throws was a killer.

Not saying the Mystics would have won the series—just that Austin’s presence was missed.

My comments about EDD are more about her D. She doesn’t seem to be able
to stay in front of anyone. Maybe D was never her strength anyway.

Bump. Looks like they drafted Aaliyah Edward out of UConn. Tankathon had Edwards was ranked #5 coming into the draft over Angel Reese. (#7)

Looks like EDD is taking the year off and Cloud left in free agency.
