.

Wizards on a roll. Knicks are kind of like a soap opera right now.

Classic trap game. Will test Wizards maturity.

Game time: 7:00 a.m. / Verizon Center.

Hopefully, not too many Knicks bandwagon fans in our gym. Go Wizards!!

We have 11 games left before the March/April grind. We should win around 8 of them.

The Knicks losing to the Hawks in quadruple overtime then ending the Wizards home win streak is an unacceptable scenario. MUST WIN.

Anyone going to the game in person on Tuesday -- can you please try to start the following chant every time Melo touches the ball:

They don't want you
clap, clap, clap-clap-clap
They don't want you
clap, clap, clap-clap-clap

I really think the Wizards are locked in right now and have very little chance of becoming overconfident and suckered into a "trap game". They're just playing hard and playing smart every night.

Naw, when it comes to Wizards victory dogs, I'm an expert, and that is clearly a pinion of perpendicular persuasion. Go Wiz!

Also, when they have a bad run or let the other team back in, like happened tonight, they adjust, change gears, do whatever they need to do to rather than falling apart with bad decisions and selfish play. It will take me a while to get used to that, but maybe they have reached a more mature threshold as a team

Can't remember a Wizards team you could say that about.

I agree. It's kind of amazing and an awful lot of fun.

A lot of credit must go to Brooks, don't you think? I've never been much of a believer in the coach making a huge difference, & maybe it isn't "huge," but they seem incredibly confident & well-prepared, execution really rock-solid, etc.

No team wins every game, so sure they could lose tonight. But I think it'd have to be the Knicks outplaying them rather than the Wizards beating themselves, & I don't know that the Knicks are in a mode of outplaying anyone these days.

So..... Go Wizards! Win tonight, & we will have gone 11-4 in January. After going 10-5 in December. Awesome!!

Yes. Brooks deserves a TON of credit. If not for D'Antoni, I think he'd be in the running for coach of the year. It's so exciting to have a team that approaches each game professionally and actually plays up to their talent level. It's getting past the point of small sample size fluke and it may actually be the new normal.

I'm only talking about the east, not sure if you watch Cleveland much, but they really aren't very good right now. They might not make it out the east if they don't make some big move or get JR back to his top level once he's back

Javele McGee and Nick Young are on there.

Did we make the right rebuild choices?

Lebron has made the Finals in 6 consecutive seasons. He'll make it again this year. The Cavs are in a midseason lull but they'll get it together by the playoffs.

Don't overrate us. We're decent, but part of it is that the rest of the league outside of the 3 Superteams aren't very good. (Actually, I have my doubts about San Antonio, but Cleveland and Golden State are in a class by themselves.)

Honestly, Golden State may well be the greatest team ever assembled, and Cleveland can give them all they can handle. We can't beat them in a 7 game series.

Otto's efficiency ranking on offense is even more impressive when you throw out centers, Otto's in some elite company there.

We still have more potential to unlock this year. Satoransky is going to be a game changer when they let him handle the ball more. Mahinmi will transform our defense off the bench. Ernie will make a move for a guard I think.

As of now, Cleveland literally has 2 players that can dribble a basketball and ZERO rim protection. Lebron looks visibly pissed off every game.

Will we beat them in a 7 game series? I wouldn't bet on it, but we can, or atleast push them to 6 or 7 I would think.

Question: how come we never talk about the fact that eventually Lebron will slow down and retire and after we lock up Otto, we might be the best team in the east year in and year out? Perennial finals contenders. lol it's not all that far fetched
