Who guards Lebron? Porter and Oubre? They are gonna have their hands full.

I think Wall/Gortat PnR against Irving/Thompson should be effective though. Beal should have a good game, unless he's just off.

Also again Jason "The GOAT" Smith 12 points/6 rebounds/2 assists/2 blocks!

Both Morris and Oubre did a better job guarding Melo than Porter did last time we played NY

Porter guards him of course, but i'd wager Morris does the best job of the three when they switch or when Cavs go small (i hope they do so we can death lineup they ass)

Ticket update:

A fair amount of secondary market inventory left, most of it priced near the outrageously expensive box office prices. Lots of box office seats left in the 400s. If I wanted to go, I would keep checking Ticketmaster through the day tomorrow to see if resellers drop their prices. This season I've seen some good deals first thing in the morning. It also might be worth going to F Street just after tipoff.

I'd be looking to strike at $140 for the lower corners, $110 for the lower ends, and $50 for a sideline section in the 400s.

Small ball
Wall vs Irving
Beal va korver
Porter vs shunpert
Oubre va lebron
Morris va love

They need shunpert to guard wall...in the meantime beal will work Irving...I see us winning 9

4 straight sloppy games but Washington won all of them by double digits.

The spotlight is going to be on them with a nationally televised game, would be nice if they got last nights bench effort to go with the starting unit clicking.

Cleveland is vulnerable right now and the Wizards have played them tough in the past, let's kick them while they're down.

The moment LeBron has been fearing for weeks has finally come. He's got to face Jason Smith. In his own house. It's the biggest game of LeBron's life.

I agree that small ball might be the way to go against Cleveland - at least when Thompson isn't in the game. I'd go with Morris on Lebron and alternate Porter and Oubre on Love. Oubre would foul out in the first quarter defending Lebron. If Love is playing mostly out at the 3 point line, use the long quick defenders on him.

This +1000.

Oubre vs LeBron is not a good matchup right now, mostly because of the refs. I think the kid would play great defense and pester the hell out of LeBron. He's fearless enough to be trusted with the role, but you are dead-on about Oubre racking up fouls in that scenario. Gotta defer to Morris's physical one-on-one defense on Bron instead, and I think Porter/Oubre would do a fine job containing Love on the glass.

Anyone else way more excited for WSH v CLE than the superbowl?

I mentioned this in another thread, but Oubre hasn't been rebounding as well lately in our small lineups. Our forwards need to really crash the defensive glass and keep their offense from getting multiple opportunities.
