A first round pick well spent.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

Sort of true. Didn't want to waste money or a long-term deal on that non-defensive playing streak shooter. At least we have guys like Meeks and Scott on very short deals and maybe one of the young guys will step up.

J. Michael kills me. Guarantee you he was looking at Hoops Hype or Basketball Insider's salary cap sheet.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!

I think they view McCullough as their first-round pick, since he was a first-round pick. I guess we'll see in SL whether he's still a skinny project or ready to contribute. Personally, I haven't see enough to make a projection other than the Nets gave up on him for a reason.

I forgot we even still had that mofo. I'm couldn't be more pessimistic. Ladies and gentlemen the front office that scouted Daniel Ochefu and Aaron White.

Meanwhile...I see Johnny O'Bryant (you know, the guy who they dropped for Ochefu) has dropped 2 straight 20pts games in summer league.

O'Bryant is not bad but he's not 6-11, 250. That's the only reason Ochefu is still hanging around as a fourth-string center and he probably wouldn't be here if Mahinmi didn't get hurt. They would have cut him and kept House when they brought Jennings in.

But as Allen Iverson once said, "we talkin' about 4th string centers?" WGAF. The key is for Mahinmi to play 70+ games this season and we won't have to worry about Ochefu.

Bye bye Bojo!

Johnny's listed at 6'9 257lbs...so it's moot.

No, the key is to get rid of Mykneemi's god awful contract. We're capped out and have 1 allstar and one borderline allstar to show for it. We're following the Clippers script and I hate to break it to you how that worked out.

O'Bryant doesn't appear to be that tall but he is wide. Sure, I would rather have had him last season as somebody who can play some 4 and 5 then Ochefu, who I guess has a little more potential in terms of rim protection.

I preferred O'Bryant from the last time he was with us as-far as cheap Centers

Dishonest spinning, Ernie already made a run on injured vets, the minutes don't exist to kick the tires on the youth and a couple will be cut save money. We will have 2, two-way players who won't cost much though

It's like you can predict how bad a deal is the minute he does it.
