GT #60: Raptors @ Wizards 7 PM (CSN/1500 AM)

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Fri Mar 3, 2017 5:12 pm

YOUR Washington Bullets demolished the Raptors in Toronto on Wednesday night.

Tonight, they play the second game of this home and home series. Newly acquired Brandon Jennings will probably make his Wizards debut and we won't ever have to see Trey Burke play again... we hope.

Does Brooks go with the same 2nd unit that broke the game open?

Would it make sense to merge it with the other game thread since it's a home and home?

I'd prefer to keep the threads separate. They're separate games.

It feels nice to have an actual NBA caliber bench.

I'll leave Sato as our backup PG as he has been on the team longer...

If Jennings comes in and balls out, I'll put him there in future GTs

Kelly did an NBA2k interview where he talked about that move specifically. Nice to see it in action.

I'm gonna miss the first half while at dinner with the family. But I'll be back in the second half to will the Wizards to victory in my role as self-appointed good luck charm. I feel like my juju is strong.

Go Wizards!

Markieff not boxing out leads to easy Ibaka putback. Complete miscommunication leads to Carroll wide open under basket. Morris blocking Wall's way leads to Joseph And-1 layup.

The Wizards are weak defensively at the 4 and 5, not normal for a Lowry less Toronto to hang with the Wizards when John is that hot.

Beal handling the ball this much is a complete disaster. He's not even close to the passer that Wall is, turnover everytime man.

I think Gortat might really lose his starting spot to Mahinmi, I have no confidence in a Morris Gortat pairing against the better teams defensively.
