And it really wasn't a good season, just better than the previous seasons. I think he's making 2 or 3 mil this season; it'd be nuts to pay him 10 mil next season unless he becomes a star. Where he'd need to take giant steps is in the ability to get separation and the ability to run after the catch. He's been really bad at both.

Agree. Now hopefully we have some serious competition at his spot and we’ll see whether he rises to the occasion or is replaced by someone better.

Again the key to me was in the protection he got from a dominant front line. If you expect a young guy to produce you have to give him room to make mistakes. He's not a ricochet quick elusive cat, he has pocket presence and therefore needs a pocket to work within. If its me if I am investing my future in a young QB I would build him a concrete bunker of an offensive line so he doesn't get crushed early and often and develop the yips.

Redskins signed UDFA tryout invite CB Deion Harris (6-2, 185) | North Dakota.

Had a big jr year but tore an Achilles that sat him out a year. Before that he was talked about as a first round prospect. I’ve seen him listed as 6’2” or 6’3” between 187-201 lbs. prior to the injury he ran a sub 4.5 40 yd dash. Pro day results: 40yd time 4.6, broad jump at 10 feet, 1 inch, vertical jump at 34.5 inches and bench 15 times This past year had 46 tackles, 14 passes defended & 5 picks, 3 returned for TDs.

I’m guessing he will be moved to FS. I read something about his best trait being his ability to play at any position in the secondary. I hope he shows enough to make the practice squad. It’d be nice to have a FS with size and cover skills to develop on the PS. Other teams will take an UDFA CB and turn them into a FS with success, I’d love to see the redskins do that too.

Careful, if you listen to the Junkies, the fact that he bought a Bentley suggests he may not be bright.

LOL. I stopped listening to the junkies a long time ago. They are complete morons when it comes to sports.

There's only a handful of people in the media that I actually like: Danny Rohier, Grant Paulson, Doc (although he's an incredible homer, but he's such a nice guy, you look past that), and John Keim, who I consider as the best. I'm sure I'm missing a few, but those guys are the best to me.

The Redskins front office is so in love with themselves right now. Like Haskins erases all their years of ineptitude.

All of this is just their way of trying to sell tickets, IMO. WTF is the point of making a comparison like this to the media.

Riddick made the comp - he hasn't worked for the Skins in more than a decade.

Btw, I think Riddick will eventually be an NFL GM.

Is Jimmy Moreland already the Skins top cover CB? If people in the know are honest, they might say yes. He had 3 ints in yesterday's practice, and he was already getting rave reviews. And honestly, the Skins other CB's are questionsable cover guys at this point in their careers.
