YOUR Washington Bullets are STRUGGLING.

After a good win at home vs. the Bulls, they laid an egg at Charlotte on Saturday night. They're currently the 3 seed and just behind Boston for the 2 seed and homecourt advantage in a hypothetical 2nd round matchup!

The Celtics similarly are STRUGGLING as of late. After going streaking, they have suffered some bad losses. The latest being against the Sixers on Sunday afternoon. They are without Isaiah Thomas who has a knee injury. Thomas is aiming to play on Monday night.

Will the Celtics even up the season series at home? Or will the Wizards regain some of the road magic we saw out west to deliver another gut punch to the Cs?

The mood swings after this game... Either the Wizards will be right there for the 2nd seed or they'll have lost 4 in 5 games.

We need to win this game not because we can catch Boston (no way on Earth we're doing that). We need to win to stop Boston from getting the 1 seed.

Holy crap. Just realized that Cleveland has also been losing games too.

Aside from the worry of the Cleveland slide, Miami is now the 7th seed as well. It seems like the best hope for avoiding them is that they get the 5th seed from the Hawks.

Imagine Miami in the first round and Cleveland waiting in the 2nd if the HEAT were overcome. :uhoh:

Marcin Gortat has been playing really soft on both ends of late. I would like to take him out the starting lineup and insert Ian Mahinmi. Are bench be better offensively and are starting lineup gets tougher.

Literally just suggested this in the lineups thread

If Isiah sits (or if hes on a minutes restrict or something like that) then I think we should experiment with this. Otherwise, maybe postpone for another game so as to not mess with chemistry too much during a game we really need to win.

ALL BLACK EVERYTHING AGAIN BOYS

Huge game, they might be without Thomas but I doubt he'll want to miss this game. Seems like every team in the East is scuffing a bit, Cleveland had a hard time vs. the Lakers last night.

If Russell scores 40 and shoots a high percentage, taking the shots he constantly bricks, then you're in trouble.

Thought that game was more of an aberration.

Boston struggling without Thomas is normal. Cleveland without 100% Love is fine.

The Charlotte game was disappointing but it was a back to back game and fatigue could have been a factor especially for Wall who suffered a foot injury against the mavericks on Wednesday. Still, I'm concerned about the Celtics if the Wizards are not locked in mentally. Beal has gotten up for these kind of games in the past, it would be nice to get a road victory in Boston.

Pretty clear who deserves to start at this point. Toss-up between Smith and Morris though.
