Sorry if this redundant.

Great decision by the front office. Let's hope these are the primary home unis next year. I'd love to see a blue variant for the road as well.

The stars and stripes are indeed dope -- I prefer them to the primary home unis. However, I'm not a fan of a team using alts during the playoffs, if only because they should be reinforcing their standard brand, which (presumably) is most closely-identified with their primary unis.
Now, if this is a precursor to the Wizards switching their primary home unis to the stars and stripes for next season: I won't be mad. I'll miss the horizontal stripe (which is a nice nod to team history), but the stars and stripes are a better overall design. It eliminates the grey trim, which is superfluous. That said, I'm not sure those panels would translate well to a red (or even a navy) away uni. So, they'd have to do some tweaking to switch to this look full time and still have a coherent home/away design motif.

The Cavs have like 7 different unis , in last year's playoffs alone they wore 3-4 different ones.
I don't think there's a major issue with using different kits in the playoffs, it will probably become the trend for a lot of teams moving forward.
I think they need to wear the S&S more often next regular season though, the design is beautiful and that way it will become more closely identified with the team/brand. Like if we have say, 10 national TV games next season we should wear them in at least 5 of those games.
