NBA loves dragging these first round matchups

I'm seeing a five game series. The Wizards certainly have more talent and if aggressive can take the Hawks out of there game.

They have 8 first round series, each up to 7 games. Up to 56 games just for the 1st round! They put 4 a day on weekends, 2 or 3 on weeknights, they gotta enter a third week just to finish things out. Lots of days off. Milking it.

I'll be at this one. First ever playoff game and first time I venture outside of the nosebleeds - will be 10 rows behind the Wizards bench. So pumped!!

Even on Easter the crowd was the best I've seen. The atmosphere will be crazy when you go.

I'll also be at the game -- first row of club level, behind the Hawks bench.

I'm guessing Wall will get the same amount of looks from any thing outside the paint cause I doubt Atl will run him off from the perimeter anytime soon. I do think Morris might get a bit more defensive attention. Hopefully Morris can use that to his advantage with pump fakes or creating for his teammates.

I fully expect Beal to light it up from 3pt land. Would be nice to see a good Otto game as well. I been ripping on Gortat for what seems like months now, but TY for showing up huge big guy. Many kudos deserved to him.

I thought Bojan and Jennings played a bit... shook, which is a bit weird for em since it seems at times they never met a shot they didn't like. So long as Beal doesn't get in early foul trouble we should be able to stagger Beal with the 2nd unit next time which should open things up for everyone. I'd like to see Smith do his Pick and Pop stuff rather then try driving it in. Overall, game 1 was the one I was most worried about, glad they secured it.

I too am expecting a big game from Brad. I thought Otto played quite well in the first half. He was out hustling everybody to those boards and playing great D. Just needs to shoot like he was mid-season and this series will be over very quick.

The team has lowered prices *again* on the remaining seats available from the box office. Most of the 400 level seats that were available the other day (thousands) are gone, likely given away. Lots of reseller inventory and prices are coming down. You should be able to get a good deal online or on F Street tomorrow. Unfortunately I already bought mine.

Really hoping that the Caps don't crap out early again. As long as both teams continue in the playoffs they are competing for marginal buyers. Since the Caps currently have a stronger fan base with more money to spend, this would keep demand and prices for Wizards tickets down.
