Reality says the Clippers beat the Bucks and next beat the Warriors.

LAC is 8-5

So can bad GM who can't tell the difference between a good coach and a Scott Brooks.

Damn shame.

Wood is eventually gonna become a Robert Covington type player. He will be a starter IMO and paid like one.

Last year, during the Everybody's Eatin' era; that was the time to propose a Wall trade that returns Fox plus picks.

Yup. I think I might have proposed such a trade.

Man, I didn't realize how dire the Sixers bench situation was, that's pretty terrible what they have to trot out there.

Kawhi fumbles a game winning opportunity.

Pistons get the buzzer beater on the other end. Casey gets some revenge on the Raptors.

Slowly and quietly, Pat Connaughton is on the verge of becoming the Bucks' 6th man - with an 18.7 PER and .593 TS%. He's averaging 9.7 rebounds per 36 minuntes - especially surprising since he averaged 3.9 last season. Basically, he's a 6'5 power forward, and that works in today's NBA - as long as you have a high BBIQ and can jump and shoot.

Yeah, the Blazers kinda missed the boat on not extending him a QO. Though at least the Blazers are a good team, too, and have Aminu at PF who is pretty good but they painted themselves into a financial corner and he was a tax casualty, I guess.

Pat was definitely smart to choose basketball over baseball, though. Even with his modest salary in the NBA it would have taken him forever to come close to making what he has thus far in baseball even had he succeeded. Figures the Orioles would draft the guy in the 4th round.

I gotta admit - at the time, I thought he should have gone with baseball and his 97 MPH fastball. I figured he had basically no chance making it in the NBA - figuring he'd be pegged as a 2/3 and lacking the quickness to play either position. But he's actually a pretty good rebounder, and he's a knockdown shooter. Everyone who played for Notre Dame could shoot. And Bonzi Colson - also not drafted out of ND - fits the Pat C mold perfectly. He's a better prospect, imo.

Good to see. I expected him to be much better last season when he was at LAC - figuring he'd have free reign to run the offense without Chris Paul there, but he seemed almost uninterested - when I figured he'd play like he had something to prove. He and Drummond are a physically imposing pair - nice to see that a combo like that can still work in the NBA.

Awesome, moments like that are why we watch sports - I think.

This is how the raptors will lose in the ECF to either Philly or Boston, provided Philly makes some moves at the deadline to improve their balance. Lowry having a meh game, Kawhi being amazing, and the starting 5 playing high playoff minutes generally being less talented than Philly/Boston. It'll be better than with Derozan because Kawhi will steal a couple of games, but Masai needs to look at how he can improve the top end talent.

It’s going to be funny when Budenholzer & the Bucks ruins the party on some 2009 Magic/2011 Mavs type fallout.
