Lebron is unstoppable. This is gonna be a 4 game sweep unless "goofy" Olynyk dislocates a few shoulders.

Celtics can't guard these guys.

I hate the Cavs, but I am actually enjoying them put the beat down on the Celtics after the series we had.

Seconded. Verbatim. :)

Boston got a little bit of energy from the fracas between Marcus Smart and Tristan Thompson.

Lol on those celtics homers who thought they win in 7 or at least win 2 games. Al Horford is fraud and is being exposed by TT. Shame that Gortat always is abused by him

I love Pop. After this interview, I might make a shrine for him or record a mixed tape.

I feel like we would have had more bodies to throw against Lebron.

Thompson is probably worth a max. Can step out on the perimeter and hedge better than any big we have and is a relentless menace on the glass.

We need to target similar players. Faried and Corey Brewer would be great additions for energy purposes

Agree with the first part. He is one of the best defending perimeter bigs in the league.

Faried doesn't appear to be a good defender though according to the Denver Post, I'm not sure if it has improved since this article has been written.

Defensively, Faried was shaky. The top three actions Faried was put in were defending a big in the pick-and-roll (36.3 percent of the time), spot-up situations (22.3 percent), and post ups (17.3 percent). He didn’t fare well in any of them.

Opponents averaged 47.9 percent shooting when in those situations. In pick-and-roll coverages, Faried was instructed to sink under the screen, but often got caught giving too much ground. Or he got caught in limbo and the ball handler pulled up for easy jump shots.

The heavy percentage of spot-up defensive possessions were a result of the “stretch four” power forwards who can shoot out to the 3-point line. Faried was at times slow getting out to them, and allowed a bunch of open or semi-open looks that were converted at a high rate.

In post ups, he was beaten a number of ways and never was the aggressor in directing the offensive player to a spot. He was frequently at the mercy of whatever the offensive player wanted to do.

Corey Brewer is only shooting the 3 at 20% so Washington is going to have to pass.

Jesus, this is just brutal! Cleveland is obliterating the Celtics. It's 50-22, and frankly it doesn't seem that close. Cleveland scores every time down the floor and the Celtics can't score at all. If not for a couple of off-balance contested 3's by Gerald Green (going 2-2), the Celtics would have just 16 points on the board with 6 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter.

I think we would have put up a fight, but only GSW can compete against this.

Almost.

How would you like to be a Boston fan who dropped some serious coin to see your team be down 30 in the second quarter.

It's 61-24. Not a typo.

They need a mercy rule. Cavs are now up 63-24. I've never in my life seen a bigger blowout.

You know that if he were not already suspended from the General Board, Ji would be trolling the Cs in the GB game thread.
