Amazing what Celtics doing tonite. They may lose the series but I think if my life depended on a team winning one game I’d want Brad Stevens to coach it. Darryl Morey says Ainge is best GM in basketball by far, and have to agree.
Missing out on Horford was terrible for the Wiz, but can’t blame him for choosing Celtics.

They may go to the Eastern Conference Finals with no Kyrie, no Hayward and a gimpy Jaylen Brown.

Also weird to see former Duke players going at it, Tatum/Reddick who both had 20+ points.

I disagree, though I do give Ainge loads of credit for the Stevens hire, which was on him, too, but I feel this is simply public modesty on Morey's part - Ainge is in a group of the best GMs, but I don't feel there is a clear cut best. Without Stevens, though, that Celtics team is pretty meh overall. Even at full health, I wouldn't expect a trio of Horford, Irving and Hayward to be particularly amazing - good, sure, but not 55 wins good. Stevens makes them so much better, I think he masks a lot of Ainge's other weaknesses.
Bucket! Bucket!

Looks like Casey took a page out of Brooks' fourth quarter playbook.
I wish JV played that poorly against us.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 4
CP3 and Harden looking for fouls incessantly to get back in the game. Disgusting
Utah has made adjustments and getting production from guys like Exum, Burks, Crowder and Ingles balled out
Mitchell didn’t even play great either

If it wasn't obvious before that the wizards are the worst team to make the playoffs, it should be now.

Also notice how the Cavs, not exactly a defensive juggernaut, have snuffed that Raptors offense out.
So much for that idea that the Raptors could ride their bench to a conference final.

What’s so disappointing, the Wizards suck is taking the enjoyment out of basketball for me at a time where the league is as entertaining as it’s been in a while.

You are correct, Morey not impartial when assessing Ainge as owes he career to him. But hiring a coach is probably the most important decision a GM can make.
The Golden State GM Myers does not get enough credit (he was with organization but not in charge when drafted Curry and Thompson) but his most important move was firing Jackson and hiring Kerr. That and not trading Thompson for Kevin Love.
