This guy is solid, he had one or two triple doubles last year.

Per Bobby Marks, it looks like the Wizards used the TPE. Really solid move, I thought Napier could have been a target but Frazier was nowhere near my radar.

Take care of Tim, he's a great backup and you've got every Penn State hoops fan on his side (yes, all 5 of us). Really solid trade for you guys, instant backup PG upgrade.

This is terrific. The Wizards knew that any player they get at 52 is almost certainly not a NBA rotation guy. I hear they're now trying to trade for a high 2nd rounder.

So early predictions for a Frazier/Sato backcourt? I'm seeing Frazier shot the 3 at 42% last season. Not bad

Frazier's our immediate backup point guard and a pretty good spot starter should Wall need rest. This is a really solid move, I'm quite shocked Ernie even knew who Frazier is.

If Sato can't earn minutes by the trade deadline I move him

Farewell, Jennings.

Frazier is better than anyone Ernie Grunfeld would draft at #52. (He's better than someone Ernie Grunfeld drafted at #6).

He averaged 17-9-5-2 per 36 last year on efficient shooting.

But speaking of just Tim, he is a very limited shooter and complete liability on defense. He was 54th amongst PG's in real plus minus, which is right where I would put him. One of the worst backup PG's in the league, but a qualified second string player.

What he does well is he plays hard, pushes the ball and makes good decisions. Because he is a little guy and d league MVP, he tends to be a fan favorite.

Well, not a good sign.

He's young plays hard, and makes good decisions. That sounds like the recipe for a player who will get better.

From Ernie's quotes, sounds like they acquired Frazier to be a 3rd string backup PG option.

That's fine. We sure hate to make draft picks. Terrific passer, subpar shooter and bad defender. This is likely a better pickup (for now) than a guy like Monte Morris, if he was available.

Who is this guy? He sounds exactly like Brandon Jennings

Given how badly the Zards need a quality backup PG, there was no way they were going to go into next season with Sato and second round pick(s) with zero NBA experience as their only options. Frazier may or not be the answer, but a move like this needed to be made.

I hope the Zards buy another second round pick, but if this draft is as deep as people say it is, there's a good chance we might pick up an undrafted free agent with potential...like the Zards were able to do with Sheldon Mac.

He's a better version of the current Brandon Jennings without all the histrionics.

Through five seasons in the NBA, Frazier, a journeyman who has played for three teams, has averaged 6.2 points and 4.4 assists. Last year in New Orleans, Frazier started the first 20 games for the Pelicans when original starter Jrue Holiday was not with the team. During that stretch, Frazier averaged 31 minutes, 11.2 points and 7.6 assists.
