Was the Laker loss the worst game this organization has had in many years?

I've been through all the tanking years, the playoff losses, etc...and I can't think back to a regular season game that I felt more disappointment. Like...I can't watch this team for a while after witnessing what I saw last night. It was horrifying to witness.

No. Everyone lets relax. We always blow these games at least a couple times a year where we lose to a straight up D-League. This one hurts because we thought we were an elite team and, lets face it, we ALL let Lavar Ball get to our heads. That's the only reason to me that this loss hurts more than usually.

Agreed it hurt because of the Lavar factor and now he has the bragging rights but i'm sure this team will lose to the Bulls or Phoenix, at home no less.

Really...an overtime loss on the road in the fourth game of the regular season and this is your reaction?
It's the NBA...sh*t happens when you play 82 games. Like the Cavs losing to Brooklyn last night.

Over reaction...
If they beat GSW, don't overreact either

If this is bad, imagine what Cavs fans must be going through losing to both Orlando & the Nets on one week.

That was an awful loss. We pissed that game away but hopefully we'll learn from it. I can't see reading too much into it. In an 82 game season, most good teams will have a couple of bad losses. No point freaking out about it.

Of course losing a regular season game in October isn’t a big deal, that’s not what he means. They way they lost it, the humiliation after talking so much **** about Lonzo, the pathetic effort and selfish play, blowing a double digit lead to a bunch of 1st and 2nd year players.
Yeah I can’t remember a more horrific loss in my time as a fan than last night. We looked like an AAU team with negative basketball IQ. I’m with you Faze, it’s gonna be hard for me to turn on or pay any attention to the wizards for awhile.

I disagree.
Last night Julius Randle shut Wall down. A couple times.
Marcin Gortat could not finish over Ingram a couple times.
Bradley Beal choked at the free throw line a couple times.
Teammates looked off one another to take selfish shots several times. Meeks did it. Wall did it several times. Even Frazier looked off Beal.
What I saw was an overconfident team that got beat by a team which was more athletic and quicker to the ball consistently. Larry Nance Jr had 14 and 9 in the first half. To the very end of the game they were beating the Wizards to loose balls.
I'm disappointed because the Wizards believe their own hype.

The Nets are legitimately improved.
So is Orlando.
Without looking at the standings don't both of those teams have 3 wins the same as the Wizards?

I have to correct everything that I never used to have to correct when I had a different phone...

This is way too big of an overreaction. The team usually has 4 or 5 games like this every year where they crap the bed against an inferior opponent. It happens. The other team wants to win too.
It was a bad game. Nothing more.

There are a few Ls that have hurt me recently (a bulls L two years ago), game 7 Celtics and this L.
It was so disappointing because it was a trap game and they got trapped.
They sucked all the way down to the last shot by Wall. Wall took a double clutch (foot on the line) long 2 when we needed 3 and Beal was alone in the corner. Everything about that reeks! The lakers are a horrible team. They dont have a current NBA starter on that roster. That team is ALL potential...and the Wiz are vets coming into a trap game. It was just one game but if they dont learn from this they cant be special.

+ 1. I watched until halftime and then decided to go to bed because I could tell it was "one" of those games they would lose to an inferior team. Seen it before and will see it again. Its part of the NBA.

It was a bad loss for many reasons including Gortat and Wall responding to Lavar and not backing it up on national TV. But we've had so many bad losses over the years, pissing away so many games late because of taking our foot off the gas and playing lackadaiscal. Just another loss. But I don't want to hear about WE LEARNED FROM THIS. F-ck that. We've had too many of these types of losses and our leaders are not rookies. We won't learn from this until our backcourt can spread the wealth.

Worse than a loss alone is Lavar having a good time with his prediction for this game.
I don't like SAS but calling Wall out it's the best remedy for not showing up and stop with this diva BS I should be on ESPN cover etc.
Play and shut the hell up. The same should apply to other Wizards player mainly Gortat.
Tough pill to swallow, that loss to Lakers but the worst thing is our defence was like Swiss cheese. I am starting to believe that Brooks defensive coach label is way overrated.
Good loss before Warriors massacre

I'm convinced that if Lavar Ball did not exist this thread (overreaction) would not exist. Based on some of the references I've seen to Lavar and BBB it's clear that Lavar also got into the heads of some of you.

Certainly not the worst in many years. I can think of some heartbreakers.
This was just a "on any given night" kind of game, where we came out thinking they were chumps and we played like chumps to match what we thought they were. But lets face it, they are who we thought they were. :-|
We have to play better, and up to our caliber. We have to start winning these kind of games...where the refs jobs us at a critical point of the game, and we're still able to overcome.
