Re: Political Roundtable Part XVI
Wizardspride would like to offer a few words of advice to Trump and his associates.
You claim this is a "nothingburger" and you may very well be right...so my advice is simple:
STOP LYING about things related to Russia.
This may be nothing but judging from the constant lying we can only assume you have something to hide.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

I think they're in complete touch with the base.
It's just not "the base" most people think it is.

I think their base is actually their base. I think this group of Rs at the federal level isn't in touch with their base - much less reality.
At the federal level, the administration on down is an abstract lesson on how NOT to govern.

My take is that you push for your own interests when it comes to primary challenges, but if your candidate is out I don't see why you wouldn't vote for the Democrat despite them not aligning to you ideology 100%, the Republican alternative is most likely worse. It's like teammates that go hard against each other in practice but come together when they play an opponent.
dckingsfan wrote:So - you just don't talk about it? How do you get it right then? How do you drive the D establishment to get their act together?
Of course you talk bout it, but you can demand accountability and transparency without sabotaging the party in general. What I'm not a fan of is conspiracy theories and finger pointing. Donna Brazile's article was self serving and big middle finger to the DNC/Clinton, at the end of the day it really didn't expose something that most people didn't know, but served as great fodder for right wing talking points and disenfranchising Democratic voters.
dckingsfan wrote:And here we disagree. Some Rs want that - and I would venture to say that it is a minority of their party. I would say most Rs are disappointed with the Trump sans the blow it up Rs. But the tribalism in the R party had some vote for him regardless.
Look at Trumps approval ratings and favorability ratings among Republicans. Last I checked it's around 80% from Republicans. Maybe some of this can be attributed to tribalism but I think this is who Republicans are or who they want to be if they could get away with it. Trump's politics aren't that far from standard Republican politics and dog whistles, he's just more blunt and less tactful.

I agree with you. I don’t believe for a minute that the real Republican base is more interested in deficit reduction than it is in cutting their taxes. If you ask a white, blue-collar person in Steubenville, Ohio or Dearborn, Mich. (the kind of voters that elected DT president), if they’d rather cut the deficit or receive a $1,500 tax break, I’m pretty sure I know what their answer will be.

thats the problem though. its not an actual investigation. there is clearly no case to be made that trump himself colluded with russia to hack the election. if he was indeed colluding, he would have never said, "Russia, if your listening, release more emails if you have them." rather he would have used his back channels if they existed. He would have known his hands were dirty. and Dirty people in cahoots dont come out on TV in front of millions and exposing their collusion. And please dont try to tell me trump is that dumb.
So its not an actual investigation. this is a political witch hunt. Global Billionaires, dirty or not, once they become targets of the FBI, a plea is likely so long as minimal jail time is imposed.
Mueller is hoping Manafort is either bitter about something, has an axe to grind, and is willing to lie about connection to trump to protect himself.
And everyone knows this. there is not a democrat in congress or the house that isn't already well aware of the actual evidence which is both scant, shady, or nonexistent altogether. There is no lawyer nor judge on the planet that doesn't know what is going on here.
Its a political witch hunt meant to tarnish the trump presidency and make him ineffective in instituting his policies. What the democrats havent learned yet is what comes around goes around.
IN terms of the american people and making government work. All this does is allow our elected officials not get anything done. I may not agree with all of Bernie sanders policies, nor Warren, nor Obama, nor Trump. But if they campaign on them. if they win. if thats the will of the american people then I want those politicians to be able to implement their policies and change.
All this "investigation" has proven to me is that future grass roots politicians will be handcuffed if they dont get on board with politics as usual where DC elites continue to implement policy that puts us further in debt and further enriches the wealthy, even which is even worse when the economy is failing the working class and the poor like the Obama era.
This is a dangerous slippery slope. elections wont matter.
like i said, its a full rebuild.

as you are well aware. Obama (surrogates and administration) booby trapped the entire DOJ for trump heading into his first 100 days.
The obama regime and democrats have strong armed trump into an anti-Russia position. We had a reset 8 years ago. and because Putin didn't play nice with Obama, it was determined that trump would have no opportunity at all to even negotiate with Putin. which, frankly, is borderline evil. why wouldn't trump not get his own chance to negotiate?
keep in mind that Putin nationalized his central banks in 2016. something we never talk about anymore. because the banks that own DC politicians dont want you to know that (we americans) can take back our money whenever we want. Its our frickin money!! we, the people, own it. our taxes pay for everything. and our government is suppose to work for us. but through the use of media, we are wasting time with "collusion" so trump cant get anything done. trump is trying to change things and this whole thing is nothing more than a huge smoke screen to prevent trump from negotiating firmly with both his own party and democrats.
Now trump has certainly made it easy for dems and for lindsey, Rand and Mccain to show boat to sully and soil up his administration becausse trump clearly didn't understand how DC works. He thought he knew. He clearly didn't.
and this is why it will be so hard for a true maverick, and true renegade, that truly wants to implement change for the good. for the betterment of the american people. trying to do the right thing for Americans. they will always be obfuscated and obstructed by the DC elites.
the two parties are both complicit. the media is complicit. the establishment is complicit. they will continue to run the country into the ground so that international global bankers can continue to remove wealth from the american people and line their own pockets.
heroin use is rampant again. Cocaine use is rampant again. i was at a party on friday over 100 people doing cocaine in broad daylight. I was in shock. not even using the bathrooms like they did in the 80's. I asked a guy, and he said they do this every weekend. "the whole building does it." I also have a younger girl friend, a northwestern grad. she has a bunch of trust fund friends. They all say that at least 90% of the people at all the music fests are on molly, coke, mixed with booze for sure, and often weed. every single weekend. every single DJ show. every where. everyone. you combine this with prescription drugs and booze at home, and I would estimate that 80% of the entire country that is over 16 years old is using drugs regularly.
IMO, The country has been running into the toilet on the obama watch and we are worrying about things like "did trump collude with russians to hack the election." like it even matters. hillary clearly paid for russian sourced opposition research. however indirect. and the russians provided her campaign with lies which her campaign released to buzzfeed and no one cares about that. and frankly, they shouldn't. it doesn't matter. If a candidate is "bad" and russian operators can demonstrate that the candidate is bad? and its true? who cares? No american should care who helped who expose it. like the DNC emails. these aren't national secrets. these are party ongoing related to elections and policy that a candidate may or may not campaign on. And if the party is acting nefarious in their email chains i think the american people should know prior to election. no matter the party. what matters is the truth comes out. that the american people get the truth.
the "investigation" however is just a smoke screen to make trump another sit on his hands president.
like i said, its a full rebuild.

the united states of america only owes debt in american dollars. we can print and issue greenback tomorrow. 20 trillion. and pay off all of our debt.
whenever the american people "get united" and we stop allowing politicians and FOX and CNN to keep us divided. when that happens we can demand a candidate that issues and executive order to pay off all debt. Or even 1/2 of it would be nice. we can demand that. and vote for that candidate. Lincoln did it. issued green backs to pay for his war with the southern states. while southerners went to europe for their financing.
If executed well, i dont think we will even face massive inflation. and the american people should be willing to accept some inflation to pay off the debt.
the main thing that the US treasury will need to understand is that the banking world will be furious. but that banking empire is no longer controlled in London by the Rothschilds and in fact washington DC and New England bankers mostly control the world banks with Chase, Citi, and BoA being the main players. They will close the credit markets and restrict the money supply. just like they have in the past. So enough green backs will need to be printed so as to keep the credit markets open and the money supply flush with cash. and then continue to bring manufacturing jobs back to the US. simultaneously, we would need to impose massive taxes on the uber wealthy, individual with over $20 Million net worth. and corps. with over $300Million. just hit em hard. confiscate that wealth. and you confiscate the wealth, remove it from the economy which will curb inflation greatly. and slowly remove the excess greenbacks from the money supply as well. learn from the post civil war recession. and rewrite our entire banking constitutions so that private and hidden corporation are never in control of our banks. It's Our money. the federal reserve central banking legislation is the biggest con ever pulled on the american people.
like i said, its a full rebuild.

Yeah, you and I just have a fundamental difference of opinion about this subject.
I have a huge problem with any candidate (or representatives) meeting with Russian intelligence to influence an election.
As a former Marine I'm shocked you're so nonchalant about this.
For some reason I suspect if this was HRC you'd be having a fit right now.

I'm former Navy. Special Ops. Served on the USS Parche and the USS willaim H. Bates as an intelligence officer (then called a CT/ET technician) in the radio room. on board the most highly decorated vessel in US Naval History. Look it up. Operation Silver bells is slightly unclassified. That's Parche work. I'm well aware of who russia is and isn't. And I can assure you that Russia and Putin are not the foe the media makes them out to be.
The media went on the full fledged attack on Putin at the end of 2015 and in 2016 because he nationalized his central banks. he withdrew from the rothschild banking cartel and became public enemy #1. Go figure. Do some research. Dont let the banking controlled media brain wash you.
What's more is that Obama and HRC clearly didn't see Putin as a threat. 7 years ago we had a complete russian reset. Hillary herself pushed the button. And then we actually sold them 20% of our uranium reserves and allowed them nearly full control of the reserves rosatom has in canada as well as Kazahkstan (rich in uranium). some of that US Uranium did in faact leave the country via canada per the NY Times. House intel committes are investigating right now.
That happened. its real. no one denies it. NO ONE. HRC campaign and the DNC also paid for russian sourced dirt on Trump.
So who exactly is colluding with who????
let me help. its all a ruse. its all bull crap. the only reason russia has become enemy #1 again is because they nationaized th ebanks and the world banks are pushing bank on all things russia.
WHY is no one talking about this!!!!..he nationalized the damn entire russian banking system!!! This is huge. no one knows about this? even our "economic" experts on here. They dont talk about this.
Imagine if trump nationalized the federal reserve!!!!!! which he should btw. he wont. but he should.
like i said, its a full rebuild.

propoganda

You're also forgetting one major detail. facebook was and still is entirely unregulated. you dont need "russia" to place ads on facebook. you can simply use good old fashioned americans. or set up a shell company in India or China. Or just use bots. all the trump campaign needed was exactly what the hillary campaign used. a legal firefall. where trumps legal team hires another legal team that hires the propaganda team. completely legal and done in broad day light just like the HRC campaign did with fusion gps, steele, and their own russian propagandists.
so why collude with russia? when you can do it yourself? especially since the meat and potatoes is the actual analytics. which Kushner had legally acquired?
none of this makes any sense. like no sense at all. none. it would be like ordering my pizza from russia instead of mom and pop down the street.

What is a legal firefall? Is it based on the wet sponge 70s band Firefall?
Or perhaps based on the Yosemite Firefall ritual:
which was finally banned when Smokey the Bear said, "What are you, ****ing nuts?"
Legal firefall. That's a new one on me. Bland, yet incendiary.
Or perhaps based on the Yosemite Firefall ritual:
a summer time event that began in 1872 and continued for almost a century, in which burning hot embers were spilled from the top of Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park to the valley 3,000 feet below. From a distance it appeared as a glowing waterfall.
which was finally banned when Smokey the Bear said, "What are you, ****ing nuts?"
