YOUR Washington Bullets ARE 10-9! (Really should be 15-4...)

With the season about 1/4 of the way done, we have ourselves a fringe playoff team in DC. John Wall is out and despite his absence we have seen this team beat Toronto and choke a double digit lead to the Blazers this past weekend. It seems the team is competitive and a far cry from the 33 game sample when Wall was out in 2012-2013.

They travel to face the upstart Timberwolves. They, like the Wiz, will be starting the first game of a back to back on Tuesday. They have explosive scorers and it's going to be a huge task to win on the road against a team that can score and rebound.

Of course, we could see the Wiz get another lead and choke it away with 2 minutes left. What say you, Bullets fans?

I see that Teague is questionable for tonight. He always seems to kill the Wizards. Hopefully, it'll be their backup PG against ours.

Beal seems to match up well with Jimmy Butler, outplaying him on a fairly consistent basis. And this year, Butler isn't defending nearly as well. So I like that matchup too.

Porter is too smart for Wiggins with all his backdoor cuts and off-the-ball movement. I like that matchup.

Taj Gibson has been a constant thorn in the side of the Wizards. I'm not too sure about that matchup. It depends if Morris is motivated.

The center matchup is awful. I'm still having nightmares about the last time Towns played us. He had 39 and 13 while shooting 17 of 26 from the floor. He couldn't miss a jumper. It was ridiculous. And as we know, Gortat doesn't get out to challenge jumpshooting centers very well. On the other hand, Towns is a little soft on D and Gortat likes to punish soft players. I hope we see some Jason Smith instead of Mahinmi.

I just noticed that Mahinmi is averaging 8.3 fouls per 36. I don't know whether to  or :banghead:

He also averages more turnovers than field goals...

Somebody looked at this and thought, yup 4 years $64 million seems about right.

a center that averages 9-7-1-1 in 25 minutes and is always in the top 10 in DRPM?

He was probably worth 3 years 36 million honestly.

We don't suck because of Ian Mahinmi. We suck because we don't give good effort and can't execute late in games because we have a moron for a coach. Hell, Tim Frazier has even played pretty well this year. We aren't losing to teams that have more talent than us.

Mahinmi ranks 62nd out of 72 centers in RPM. He has been awful.

Side note: Porter has a RPM of 5.15, 2nd among 3s and 6th among all players.

If Gortat has to cover KAT tonight, he'll post a 20-20 stat line. Beal will have 30 but will score a majority of it before crunch time.

So Kieff is covering him. He'll probably only put up 35-15. :noway:

Otto 0-3 to start. He has to score 20+ or this one is going to be ugly.

I've read here that Morris can defend four positions, dude can't even be bothered to lift his arms for a contest.

Oubre has to play much tougher than that defensively on Wiggins. And then there's this note.
