Love the changes the NBA's made with the G League. It's allowed us to develop Matthews, bring in Pasecniks, and get experience to the Admiral.

Btw, I see the Bucks don't just have the best record in the NBA; their Wisconsin team (which has Jem Jones - 2nd in the league in rebounding) has the best record in the G League. :)

Did I read you right? Jemerrio Jones is #2 in the G League in rebounding? Wow.

A shame we didn't keep that guy!
Breaking News: In a shocking development, Wizards owner Ted Leonsis has sold the NBA franchise to a consortium of participants in a discussion board devoted to the team on realgm.com. Details to follow....

Yessir - per game anyway - with 11.6 per 29.6 minutes pre game. He still needs to improve in other areas, though he's getting a good amount of assists. Devontae Cacok of the Lakers is the dominant rebounder of the league - with 12.4 per 24.3 minutes per game.

As bad as this team is defensively it's too bad they couldn't figure out some way to keep him in house.

I really like that they're now televising their games. Especially when guys from the Wizards like Admiral and Matthews are there, and on nights when there's not a Wizards game.

Watching their game it's a bit disappointing to see the stands are TOTALLY empty! See on their website they offer a nice deal on tix $28 for 4 tix + 4 shirts.

Game against Knicks Grant looks good. Would really like to see him replace IT. Schofield playing really well too!

London Parrentes is on the Go-Go's - cool. He was the PG for most of the Brogdon era at UVA- a tough little guard who's not a great talent but he's like a Fred VanVleet style player.

Bad game yesterday for Jerian Grant - that's not gonna help him get a Wiz roster spot.

Good to see Mathews back from that ankle injury.
He played 19 minutes in a 9 point loss to Lakeland Magic.

Anyone watch this?

GoGo starting lineup ... GP2, Garrison Mathews, Jerian Grant, Admiral, Johnathan Williams.

Anzejs Pasecniks off the bench.

GoGo vs Erie Bayhawks (New Orleans Pelicans affiliate)

Announcers Meghan McPeak & Tony Massenburg.

I usually watch but I had a previous commitment at a fund raiser.

How did they look?

GoGo won easily... All the Wizards guys played good. Best player in the game was Grant. He's been playing great, last game he had 21 on 7-12 fg% 4-8 3pt% 12 assists, 5 steals. And game before that he had 21 pts, 5 assists, 2 steals, 10 boards, on 7-9 fg% 2-3 3pt%. Hope he makes it back to the league with somebody if not us. I would think the Wizards could find a spot for a versatile veteran combo G who can defend on a minimum contract.

I agree about Grant -- waive Payton & sign him w/ an option for next year.

But... it may not be posssible. We added about $2m in salary with our moves last week; it's possible we are too close to the luxury tax line to make the change.

Could have used a hungry G-leaguer against the Cavs the other night

We could add him at a pro rated min this year but I don't think we can do more than one year with out giving him more money than we can afford. But he's on the g league team with the guys and that means something. Idk be a happy camper if we cut Ian and Payton. And signed Grant and rolled with 14 guys and out two way guys for the rest of the season. I don't see it happening though.
