Worst loss since 1971 against the Bucks of Oscar Robertson and Kareem. Nice.

Kieff sucks when he's not hitting 3's and Gortat sucks without Wall spoon feeding him easy layups. The Jazz are good though and they have our number. DMitch is great.

Rebounding wins championships? Maybe. Rebounding wins games in December? Yes all day. The team is built for a 4th - 8th seed ceiling. When's the last time a non-top 3 seed made the finals?

This team needs cheap controllable talent with upside in the worst way.

This is a good idea, but it is not a good time for as long as Grunfeld remains GM.

Didn't watch, but reading the box score is interesting. Morris was -5. Kelly Oubre was -42.

Did Beal play with the goggles the whole time he was in? In the game against Detroit, he was 1-5 with them.

I wake up this morning and look at the box score. What the eff happened?

From the stats, it looks like (1) our offense stalled out completely. Obviously, the points scored, but looking just as much at the assists (9... 9?) and the inability to hit shots (29%)), and (2) were we playing total matador defense? Jazz shot nearly 60% overall and nearly 50% from three.

Folks who watched the game, what gives?

No point in getting upset about this loss, just the sort of effort you can expect from a mediocre squad missing one of its better players.

Washington's schedule was tailor made for a quick start and with everything pretty much aligned in their favor the Wizards invented new ways to prove that the expectations for this franchise heading into the season just weren't very realistic.

The Wizards are on the same trajectory they were on post All-Star break last year, and once again Ernie Grunfeld doubled down on a small sample of success between Dezember and February as if it were truly indicative of the teams strength.

We've been here before during the brief stint at the top of the Eastern conference in the Arenas years and the outcome was pretty much the same.

What's really killing the Wizards is that with all that money tied up in the wing positions, our frontcourt is a total disaster.

Gortat looks like a guy on his last legs, Morris is a below average power forward that can't be bothered to consistently show effort and were paying a 31 year old backup big starter money.

To make matters worse the Wizards decision to extend John Wall really hasn't left this franchise many options going forward.

Mediocre squad, mediocre coaching and no chance at leadership from the front office.

Washington needs a shakeup badly but with the man in charge Wizards are almost better off not doing a damn thing.

I watch only some part of the game but we look like we play without any schemes, Beal was ball hander with Frazier on the floor and he was f....g terrible.
He wants to be an all star but he plays like random scrub. Otto shot selection was crazy bad. Morris and Gortat D was not in the game and Kelly played like a drunk. This team needs change. I would trade Beal and I don't care he is young. He is mental midget.
We overpaying this guy. Trade him for a big and add Gortat in package. He is dreadful. So many times I see someones drive to the hoop and he is close and do completely nothing.
Not only players are responsible. Scott Brooks is exposed with his offensive and defensive plays. I should ask which plays?
Iso, iso more iso, and switching everytime in D.
Wall can cover our lack od offensive plays but at D he is also huge problem.

I would like to head what Terd , Granfaild and Brooks said after this loss. I wish there is even one reporter with balls who can ask tough questions. Nah they have Chris Miller :)
**** it. It's time to focus on Christmas which be quite soon and stop waisting the time watching this crap live.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

That probably doesn’t even show just how awful Oubre really was. They have to get the ball out of his hands, he’s a 3&D guy, not James Harden

Oubre was -42, Alec Burks was +47. Developmental project vs established NBA player, no contest

I have a recommendation for a psychiatrist for whoever watched all of it.

It's okay to have a few stinkers in an 82 game schedule, but that's a disgrace. Just win the next game, and we'll have won 2 of 3, and forget about it... until the next loss.

I'm convinced this team either simply doesn't care about putting in the defensive effort every night, or aren't being coached well enough on that end. Regardless, us not drilling in good team defense now will certainly bite us in the ass like it did last year during the playoffs - you simply can't turn on a switch and remove all the bad habits you've built up over the course of the year. Put a 2nd round ceiling on this team. Won't be keeping up intently with this team anymore until around playoff time.
